Our Schedule is not daunting I have lowered my expectations: IF we can't get at least 8 wins this season is a failure.

Not sure #1 and #2 are complete overreactions. I would say #1 may be “no better or no worse than last season”
Woke up this morning and reflected on the game. I’m really disappointed in the QB play, run blocking, and that secondary. Only one game, but had hoped to see something a little better than what we watched yesterday. My 2 cents

The coming weeks is going tell us a lot about Mike Vrabel: if he's the HC to lead us. I really hope Ben Johnson is not the next Best thing *we could have chose him*. Really wanted an Offensive minded Head Coach for Drake Maye. Not saying I hate Vrabel: we love him as a former player and previous HC.

Yeah the secondary missed Gonzo big time and I figured they would. Peppers too. He’s not an all pro but I hope cutting him wasn’t a mistake.

I think it was we waited way too long to do it. I'm sure we were all surprised he's a better player than Dugger.

It could get ugly in Miami with many one play TD drives. Tua is undefeated against us: we made the Raiders TE's look like Gronk in his prime: not saying Bowers ain't Great but Mayer looks like the second coming.

I think they were ready to give up the pass and not get run over. Obviously the secondary play wasn’t great but it’s not like the defense had an awful game. Had the ofense played in the second half and I’m not sure the raiders get 20 pts.
I’m a lot more worried about the aparent disconnect between Maye and mcdaniels.

Is anyone else concerned that Maye is not a great fit in McDaniels offense or that McDaniels is not taking advantage of Maye's skill set? How about some RPOs, designed roll outs, etc? Instead its sit in the pocket and wait for someone to uncover. I don't think the line played terribly in pass pro, but what the hell happened to our run game? Predictable JMcD play calling?

We all need to become Bills fans.

I was surprised they went to the pass so much in the first series after LV scored.

Finding and throwing to the open man is a universal NFL QB skill. Maye missed open receivers too often yesterday.

Feel dumb for letting people wish Maye into something he's not in my head. For every Brady there are like 50 Mac Jones'.

Regarding Maye and McDaniels, this might be overwhelming for a second year QB to learn to call out the defense. Most teams it’s the center right? Might be they are giving him too much to worry about presnap? To me, that would explain why he looked hesitant. McDaniels worked with an experienced Brady. Early on did Brady have to do that with Weis?

Edit: on a positive note, I don’t have to hear **** from the Titans fans today as I head into work.

The Pats looked like a team that should win 6-8 games. Too early to say they're as bad as last year. It's one game, which in today's NFL is an Exhibition game that counts in the standings.
Dolphins. You're right.
Jones. Yeah, you might be right.
Thornton. Yeah. I agree.
Aaron Rodgers will make the Steelers better as long as he stays healthy, which probably won't be more than half the season.

People give a lot of deserved credit to Josh for his work with Brady, but it was Weiss who launched him.

No, Brady didn’t even call his own plays while Weis was the OC. He also had a year of studying and practicing the system without having to play.
