Seems like Thornton knows his best path to the roster this year is by having ST value as well. Assuming health, you've got Polk, Baker, and Douglas as basically locks to make it. Then you've got JuJu, Bourne, and Osborn as veterans who have actually shown production in the league. Even assuming Bourne isn't ready for week 1, that's already five guys who have the inside track at WR that Thornton would have to compete with. His best bet is to beat out Reagor as a WR/ST hybrid and hope they want to keep six guys around. I'm not putting any money on it, but I'm glad he's at least giving it a go.
