OT: Zach Wilson benched officially

If my numbers are correct since 2000 the Jets have drafted 4 QB’s in the first round and 2 in second round. A lot of misses, the best of the bunch may have been Chad Pennington

At some point, I'm going to do the legwork to count how many seasons since 2000 have the Jets enjoyed better QB play in terms of QB rating than Brian Hoyer's career average, which will serve as the "Mendoza Line". I'm guessing there's Chad P and one year of Fitz, and then maybe 2 or 3 others odd years.

Sanchize somehow has 4 road playoff wins.

The Jete defense a dozen years ago was pretty damn good, and they just needed a QB who wouldn’t mess things up. For all the issues Sanchez had, he managed not to mess it up in those 4 games. Didn’t help them, just didn’t mess it up.

There is clearly a maturity issue with this guy. Maybe this benching will be the slap in the face that needs to realize he needs to grow up and dedicate himself the right way to football and his team. I tend to believe he won't, but who knows?

So to clarify what your saying, the Pats (both directly and indirectly) were part of the undoing of yet another Jete 1st round QB.
I'm good with it.

So in their last two games the Pats have cost the jobs of one head coach and one opposing QB.

Not too shabby. Somewhat reminiscent of the glory days.
