OT: Vikings at Packers

The Vikings have some young talent. Peterson, Harvin, and Rice. It's going to be fun to watch.
Indeed. A good friend of mine is a Vikings fan and we've had this discussion weekly about the young talent they possess. It's an exciting offense, especially with Favre playing as well as he is. That said, their secondary is horrendous. Provided you can stop the Vikings from scoring, you could put up a beat down on them.

If Rogers had an offensive line, I'd hate to see what he would have done to the Vikings d-backs.

The Vikes' biggest problem continues to be their coaching staff. They don't rotate their defenders enough (or else their defenders are sadly out of shape), so every week they wear out by the 4th quarter. Tacklers were bouncing off Packers for most of the 2nd half after dominating the GB offense in the first half.

Also, they continue to give Favre too many pass attempts. Part of the reason the Pack got back into this game was the fact that Favre kept trying to pass when they should have been running it, throwing incompletions and near-picks, thereby stopping the clock for GB and helping to wear down their own defense.

Minny is exciting to watch, but I still think they are fatally flawed with their current coaches.

I woke up at 5 AM today just to watch Favre get booed. Felt good.

As has been mentioned countless times on this forum and elsewhere, it's the Andy Reid school of clock management and play-calling. The coaching leaves you scratching your head at the best of times.

SB 39......BB even checked with a few people late in that game to make sure the scoreboard was correct, thats how bad the eagles managed the clock in that game

Three packers defensemen just killing each other and allowing Harvin to score
