How about all that booing?

Fox's site has "Brett Favre Cam" going on right now, yup, one camera on him the entire game. Unfortunately, I can't view it since I'm in Canada...darn...

Interesting- Packers elect to leave Jared Allen in 1 on 1 with T.J. Lang, a rookie.

Lord Farve on the field now..

as much as i dislike allen he is prob the frontrunner for D player of the year. he has had a monster season so far. hopefully the packers block him a lot better today

they give favre just what he wants, way more attnetion than he deserves

Wow.. Lord Farve actually is changing protection calls??

No wonder he got it in the nut.. his OL is absolutely not used to that.

That is overrated IMO. His job is quite one dimensional- get to the QB.

Let me say this...Rogers fails to impress

Another TD for GB....24-20...game suddenly on!!!!!!!!!! Bite it Favre!

Percy effin Harvin. Man, what a player.

worst RtP call right there

Lots of great games this year ... this is one of them.

Is there a more exciting duo in the NFL than AP & Harvin?

Btw, penalties in the NFL are ridiculous. You can't hit QBs low, you can't hit them high, you can't hit them a split second after they release the ball... wtf.

TfB should just master the pump fake and dominate defenses.

Sort of valiant effort there by the Pack. I was only somewhat paying attention in and out really, but I'd be willing to bet that most of their problem was the OL again letting Rodgers get sacked and hurried. Poor guy. Hope they can fix that for him someday.

Favre wise...I'd be willing to bet now that Favre has accomplished his post GB, one-year-removed life's mission of smacking the Pack up twice, we could easily witness a downhill slide from here. Or maybe I'll just get over how he Favred the Pats over last year. Or not.

Regardless of the outcome, the Packers did the right thing cutting him when they did- they are well into establishing another decade where they can realistically compete at some point, because they have a cornerstone already in place, the "franchise quarterback"

Vikings along with Jets, by signing Favre, delayed their chances of acquiring a franchise QB for the future. It will take Sanchez a few years before he maximizes his talent, and whoever the Vikings get next year will have the same issue, unless they spend considerable $ in signing a FA QB.

Well said Patspsycho. Yeah the short term gain by the Vikings having Favre has worked out so far during this season. 7-1 thus far going into the bye week is very nice indeed. But in the long term I'm more concerned about what the Vikings will do after this season even because god knows what shenanigans our beloved/behated Lord Favrequad will pull this off season.

Also its not like as if the Vikes don't already Tavaris Jackson who when he goes into the game calm and not feeling pressured is when he's done very well. Yeah Tavaris isn't perfect but I'd like to see him do well.

He is also great against the run. He gets paid to get to the QB though. I didn't see the Packers running with any success against him. He also has a great motor. One play that sticks out in my mind was during the playoffs last year when he was less then five yards behind Westbrook 95 yards down the field.

The Vikings have some young talent. Peterson, Harvin, and Rice. It's going to be fun to watch.
