Heard on the radio. Link to come.
They have been very mediocre.
I guess it’s best.
Maybe another team will pick him up.
wow odd year and even odder timing...what do you gain by firing him now? They lost Cam (impact somewhat debatable) got stellar play out of a rookie for a month, then he started playing like a rookie.
I am not sure what he could have done there, especially playing one of the best divisions in football and a fairly competent AFC division in the NFC West and AFC South along with the Packers.
Not saying a coaching change in the offseason wouldn't make sense, just firing him in December doesn't.
I thought he was a good coach. Limited, but good.
The franchise QB goes down and it's always a great opportunity to change the culture (or the politics) of an organization
And the riverboat sails on...
Say what you will about the firing but at least Tepper had the good sense not to make Turner the interim HC. He's a good OC but it stops there
This job has to be very intriguing to McDaniels!
Someone will pick up Ron next yr... Perhaps Bengals or Browns?
I'm guessing Newton will be traded.
Can he kick the ball?
Why, given that QB situation?
Well it's a very dicey situation. I'm a fan of Kyle Allen though! The kid has potential to be a great QB!
Can he CATCH the ball?
This job Has mike McCarthy written all Over it.
But seeing our offense I don’t think anyone is hiring McDaniels right now.
Mayo on the other hand could take a job
Time to change my weekly pick.
Morrow been w them a long time.
Honestly, if I’m the NYG I swoop in and get Rivera to NY ASAP! It would behoove the NYG (or anybody else for that matter) to steer clear of the clapper. Also, it makes some sense due to the fact that their GM Gettleman was previously with CAR with Rivera.
Imho he is a good coach...but this year for probably various reasons Carolina has been a disappointment...i expected a better season for them
