OT: Stefon Diggs Not Present in Buffalo

It seemed clear in the playoffs last year that Diggs isn't happy being in Buffalo anymore. I don't think he can shoot his way out of town, but it may not stop him from trying.
The balls on him if that’s the case, 1 year after signing a nearly $100 million dollar contract

Anyone think hes trying to force the bills for help and try to get Hopkins or its a other issue thing

Has a player ever even done that before? I can't think of one. Would be a real weird precedent to set. Not show up to mandatory camp because you want a team that's got less than 5m in cap to sign a certain player and the season after you got your money.

But if you look back at that playoff game against the Bengals he got in Allen's face and then supposedly made a bee line for the locker room after as the game ended and left the before most of the team got back to the locker room. Apparently same issues popped up in Minnesota which was part of why he was dealt.

Bills should've drafted Jefferson LOL. Jeez

Did I say he wasn't a good quarterback? No I did not. If fact, a few posts later I say as much.

And fantastic, more useless stats ... Allen ran for a lot of yards... Big effing Deal... 1141 yards in 2018 and 2019... Thats a great stat to have in a Passing league, isnt it...

Steph Diggs arrived in 2020... Josh Allen exploded at that point... His Completion percentage, TDs, YPG, QB Rating, NY/A & ANY/A exploded... Why? It certainly wasn't Cole Beasley & Gabe Davis... Diggs was instrumental in Josh Allen developing as a quarterback... 166 targets, a league leading 127 receptions, league leading 1535 yards...

and **** buffalo straightening it out... they will pacify him a bit... but as soon as something like the playoff boonswaggle happens again, diggs is going to go from gruntled to disgruntled faster than the large hadron collider can sling atoms... Can't Wait To See It Happen.
My point is, however he got there, Allen is a top flight elite QB in the NFL today. He's not going to fall apart without Diggs (and whoever the replacement WR would be). And yes, the rushing stats are a big deal, they're coming from the quarterback position, which is a major bonus to an offense and a major headache for defensive coordinators. Allen has 38 rushing TDs in 5 seasons... that's a big effing deal.

Eh, it's a big deal if you learned the game of football by playing fantasy football ...

Qb rushing stats as well as who runs it in from the 2 yard line are extremely overrated.

He'll eventually emerge, but doesn't anyone remember what he did during the loss to the Bengals? He was pretty pissed off they got beatdown and took another loss in the divisional round.

He's in for another Groundhog Day as they will lose again probably in the Wildcard or Divisional Round with that poor supporting cast on offense. It's pretty bad.
Yes he was livid on the sideline, he's done that a few times over last season that. He did similar things in Minnesota

You hit the nail on the head... same reason he was moved from the Vikings.. it reminds me a bit of when moss was here and began to be unhappy with his targets..

Mid August's popcorn is mid August's popcorn. Today's popcorn is today's popcorn. You don't let one go stale because there might be an even better one later. You eat the one you have and then look forward to the next.

I'll sleep through all of that popcorn....

Yes there is definitely something going on here. I remember things looked really ugly with him at the end of their playoff run last year. I'm not sure what exactly he wants since he's already paid exceptionally well. I wonder if he just... doesn't like Josh Allen? Or Sean McDermott? Either way, great news. Let these other AFCE teams deal with some offseason drama for once. Wait til Rodgers starts his **** in New Jersey too.

The rumor around Buffalo is Diggs does not like the OC.

Nothing to do with Allen, who he has been very close friends with for many years.

At the end of the divisional playoff game, Diggs was seen yelling at Allen on the sidelines. Those who could hear what he was saying reported that he was yelling something along the lines of “how long are you going to listen to that guy (the oc)? we need to do it our way”

Diggs is right. They should've hired Matt Patricia.

I play fantasy football. I learned the game of football well before that.

You're wrong. Games are won on the scoreboard. You have to move the football to score. Yards leads to points and enough points leads to wins.

Josh Allen has 38 rushing TDs since entering the league, which is 12 more than the next QB. Overall he's 9th with a bunch of stud RBs in front of him. His running game is huge for the Bills.

Since 2018 Allen is second only to Mahomes with 176 combined passing and rushing TDs.

Allen is the second most valuable player in the NFL and unfortunately he'll be putting it in New England's face for the next decade. Say hello to shoe on other foot.

you relate everything in football to stats ... everything ... thats a fantasy football understanding of the game ... you have never demonstrated a deeper understanding of the game beyond statistics... the whole matthew slater hullabaloo as an example... so pardon me if i dont take your first statement at face value.

So, I'm wrong? Great... its happened before, will happen again... but you can list the names of all the great super bowl winning qbs who've run for a ton of tds for us, right?

While we wait for that, you can also tell us what exactly have those 38 TDs gotten him... Besides your undying loyalty to defend him til your Buffalo Blue in the face, that is...

38 tds... 8 or so a year... Ever think that's what running backs are for, and not your 50 million dollar a year qb?

as for the future, that's yet to be written... i'll take a wait/see approach vs your chicken little lifestyle

Diggs posted two different messages on his Instagram story. The first said this: “I just be letting people cap. If them lies help you sleep better tell em big dawg.” The second said this: “My phone been silent for like 6 years. Ion play all them sounds and ****.”

This makes no sense lol. Who is lying? And why is he so sensitive that he is crying about it on social media within less than 24 hours?

I don't understand what he was saying, I don't speak gibberish.

These things never end well.

If the Bills OC caves to Diggs, he comes across as weak and other guys on offense will know that they can pull the same crap and get their way.

The pig is ripe for slaughter if you ask me. Maybe that guy aint so crazy when he predicted the Patriots winning the AFCE this season.
