OT (sortof) : PFT says Dungy quits

Does this include his 3-13 rookie year? Most QBs who play their first year do not do well. QBs that sit their first year do better, and don't have that anchor in their stats.

I'd be interested is seeing the stats for Manning's year before Dungy, and the year after Dungy. Or a two-year swing.

While I think that Brady and Belichick's success is linked, I don't feel the same about Manning-Dungy.

They are doomed. Gruden went into Tampa and used the same players from the previous year and won a championship. Tampa had a great defense in place, but could never do anything on offense, the qb's sucked. Dungy went to Indy and got the defense to respond, at least enough to win. Replacing Dungy with an offensive minded coach makes no sense and Indy's defense will suffer. With the Jags, Texans, and Titans coming on, Indy will start to lose more games and will not be as big of a threat as they have been.

But they somehow manage to win 12+ games every year, go figure. If Dungy leaves, it's addition by subtraction and the Colts will be fine............
