Kind of strange. I think the Redskins, after last year, were expecting things from him this year, but it never materialized.

The only value he would have to the Patriots, I think, is if they decided to take Tate of KR.

He played for back-up QB Brian Hoyer at Michigan State where, for a season, they had many great completions. If Devin Thomas had stayed another year, it's likely Hoyer would have been drafted.

From what I've heard, he is lacking in the "upstairs" category. Doesn't sound like Patriot material at all. Just shows that teams other than the Patriots make mistakes too, though!

I think he is a NFL quality wr, but if we acquire a wr, i'd expect a roughy for the ps or a vet.
