I suspect that 12 positions are truly up for grabs.

The only person I’d bet on : Williams. Third rounders basically never get cut before the season.

Players I think will be on the team : Diggs, Douglas, Hollins.

Everyone else : we’ll see.

I think this is accurate. I think it’s Diggs, Hollins, Williams, Douglas, and everyone else fighting for one spot.

Yes, he is a place holder until we get a real X who is tall and athletic. But until that time Hollins is our starting tall X receiver (Top 3 on the team).
I'm shocked you think it's even possible to find someone better.

Diggs
Douglas
Hollins
Williams
Boutte
Bourne/Polk/Baker

Chism to PS unless he plays lights out

As an Efton Chism fanboy, sadly I do agree with this. He'll have to have an outstanding camp/pre-season to beat out Douglas. I think he's capable but it's still a tall order.

On the Mack Hollins question, this tweet was informative. Look at that 1st down % rating.

He's a possession receiver for sure, but a pretty darn good one.

I think it’s more likely they convert Larison to a slot receiver and he makes it as a hybrid RB/Slot, possibly taking Gibson’s spot away from him.

The Larison move was something I contemplated as well.

I still want to see what Baker has. We've seen Polk stink it up. I don't care what round they were taken after 1 year under a previous rookie coach.

Baker couldn't get on the field with the worst WR corp in the league, had issues lining up correction and running the right routes. I think expecting anything out of him is a long shot, specially with a scheme/language change......I think people got excited watching his crazy acrobatic catches in college, and missed the reason he had to make them.

Larison is more "fast than quick". He is not necessarily a slot guy, he can compete at various levels depending on the matchup. You might say hybrid RB/WR or 3rd down RB.

I think it is much much more likely Larison makes the 53 than Chism. The love for Chism is like the hate for Hollins in that both are opposites to the truth. Chism is unlikely to make the 53, and Hollins is a lock.

I think he would be more of a Meyers slot, who he actually compares well to, and wouldn't have to learn how to run routes or catch.

Great find. Larison is similar to Amendola as well, but Larison was a running back in college so I think Larison is a 3rd down back when we already have Henderson and Gibson.

Wow Jakobi Meyers ran like a donkey in the 40 yard dash: there's hope for E Chism.

Regarding Lan Larison as a RB ever converted into a WR?? He's Built like he could.

All good but 378yds in 17 games Buffalo must have had a real juggernaut Offense. Bourne had 305 yds in 12 games after spending the First Four Games on PUP. Better WR??

There is a reason it took almost 3 seasons for him to score a TD

I thought Javon Baker had an excellent College tape last year. Thought he was going to Translate: well that didn't happen. Let's see him with an NFL Offseason under his belt.

Two to be exact he got better in that area though...kudos to him.

One season CJ Spiller had more balls thrown to him, than handed/tossed to him.
Jalen Hurd did it from College to the NFL, got drafted as a WR, then had a bunch of injury issues.

I'm sure there have been others that have done it, but I really don't feel like doing a bunch of research on it.

Week 10 of season 2....so I rounded up to 3.....technically closer to 2.5.

Keep him at RB, he has a better shot at earning a roster spot there.
I think he's going to be a Gadget player for us.
