OT: Raiders officially file to move to LV

Oakland has officially submitted the relocation paperwork:

The plan is to remain in Oakland for two more years then move.

It requires the votes of 23 other owners (presumably Davis will vote for the move ). It's expected that'll be rubber-stamped.

Makes sense. They should have no problem selling out with all the tourists, but they may wind up with more visitor than home fans at the games.

It will be just like SD all over again. A lot of the city are transplants so they have their own teams. Will be a Pats home game...Denver home game..ect

I am not a Raiders fan and I really don't hate them...but it's awful that those fans are going to lose their team. I went to a preseason game out in Oakland at the beginning of this season vs the Titans while I was out there on vacation and even in the preseason...they were getting after it and LOUD ( I am used to preseason here in NE where it's dead)...they are loyal as hell to that team and very passionate and I respect that a lot.
