If Kraft was actually smart, he would have offered this sort of ownership into the Patriots the day after Brady retired for good.

Maybe Kraft doesn’t want the constant reminder that he was just along for the ride during the dynasty?

Would have been a great opportunity to tie Brady to the Patriots for the rest of all their lives, but I guess giving up a small amount of ownership doesn’t fly with the Krafts.

Question is was he sooooo miffed at BK, he wanted no part of ownership of the pats? Or did he see the future of stank we are now in. I wonder how long it will be before we are valued the same as oh let’s say Carolina? Or was there some dumb goddamn rule that past players can’t be part owner of their past teams bs? I get the Raiders are in LV, and freshly divorced TFB can get laid walking out the door there….what am I talking about that would happen anywhere…

Vegas is a location they can build and I wouldn't be surprised if there would be more scrutiny in Brady having Pats ownership because you could view it as a player potentially being promised future payment in terms of ownership stake if they take less now.

Ah that makes sense. There could’ve been some under the table dealings like Brady taking less to be “team friendly “ when in fact he was getting a future stake in ownership. Or something like that. Could definitely see ****dell “investigating” and of course docking us several years of picks.
