Jaguars fired their head coach.
I bet the top 2 candidate will be TB OC Leftwich and McDaniels.

I'd have to give the edge to McDaniels due to the fact Jaguars have a rookie QB too.

Either way, McDaniels is gone to be a head coach somewhere after this season.

There have been some who have wanted him gone for a long time. I've had mixed but mostly good feelings about him. He hasn't had the weapons to work with consistently. Just Gronk and Edelman but one or the other were normally playing hurt or out.

Cardinals/Dallas game gonna have large implications.

No sign of Fournette (ankle), Winfield (foot), Sherman (Achilles) or Dean (illness) during #Bucs portion of practice open to media.

S Jordan Whitehead (calf) suited up for second day in a row, which is obviously encouraging #Bucs

Great question. Bucs have won 18 games in overtime in their history, but Sunday's win vs. Bills was just the second in their history won in OT with a touchdown. Other one was a 2012 win at the Panthers. TD and 2-point with 12 seconds left to force OT, then TD to win.

Was anyone even aware he got hurt during the game?

When asked about a HC opening in Jacksonville, Byron Leftwich walked off saying “I’m just trying to win a division.”

Bucs receiver Chris Godwin has 25 catches in his last two games, the best total in consecutive games in team history. Mike Evans had the record with 23 in a two-game span in 2019, James Wilder had 21 in two games in 1984.

Chris Godwin needs eight catches Sunday to reach 100 for the year, and also eight to have the highest three-game total in Bucs history. Record is Mike Evans with 32 in 3-game stretch in 2019. Godwin had 29 in 2019, James Wilder 27 in 1982, Keyshawn Johnson 27 in 2001.

“It’s priceless to have a player like that,” Bucs OC Byron Leftwich says of Chris Godwin, saying he’s as complete a player as you could ask for at any position.

He was in on the last play of the game

Leftwich says Breshad Perriman was the fifth option on Tom Brady’s overtime touchdown throw Sunday, so praise has to start with offensive line and Fournette giving Brady time to spot an opening and make a game-winning throw.

so anything anyone saw was probably dismissed as a result. I, personally, don't recall seeing anything that worried me.

@gregauman Any update on AB’s ankle? Wondering if he’d be back next week assuming he doesn’t get released

Brown has posted some workout videos from his backyard and such during suspension. Again, assuming he’s with the team next week, he should be very much in play to return healthy vs. Panthers in 10 days.
