OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Bucs up 14-0 due to turnovers and a bad penalty.

I think this'll be their M.O. -- talented, good against poorly coached/mistake prone teams, but when they get into a high-stakes game against a well coached team (see: last week) they're going to struggle to win at the end of the day.

You can basically map Arians' history and apply it to this (and any) team he coaches.

Turnovers are a killer.

Like last week when Tampa had a FG blocked and a fumble on a Kick Off return and a Bradys pick 6. New Orleans looked real good last Sunday.

Don't need to see the guy running routes to realize he doesn't look right.

He looks completely out of it as a blocker, and even just running back to the huddle he looks uncomfortable and miserable.

Looks like 2018 Gronk, where we could all tell something wasn't right ... not 2013 Gronk. I seriously worry about the guy's mental health and potential CTE.

I'm going to try to take a closer look if I can.

Yeah, please do, and let me know what you think. I could be off-base but as far as I can tell the guy is completely done. I hope he's okay mentally.

They're using Howard exclusively at this point for obvious passing situations; Gronk is out there only as a blocker, and he looks pretty terrible doing that, too.

I dont think its far off. I dont think there's a lot left in the tank.

I honestly think that if AB hadn't imploded, we'd be looking at a very different scenario right now. He was truly a game changer. That's the one thing I'm most sad about.

I guess. But, really, isn’t that AB’s default ? Good riddance (despite his on the field brilliance).

Well that was the first Brady to Gronk; can't really pin that one on Gronk as Brady was hurried into passing, by pressure up the middle. He did seem half a step too slow, though. Didn't even make a play for the ball.

The throw was definitely hurried and high, but Gronk was also slow to turn and couldn't try to make a play on the ball because of it. That's just about awareness. Not 100% on Gronk, but he looks like toast

I said even before he came out of retirement he was cooked. He should have never come back, and that's not hindsight for me.
