Remember people saying McVay is one of the all time great coaches? Last year the Rams were 5 -12. This year they are in cap hell so they are signing all rookies and UDFAs. It will not improve for awhile with Stafford at QB. Meanwhile the Lions have Goff as their QB, the guy McVay traded, and last year the Lions were 9 - 8 and might win their division this year. The Rams got a SB, and now they are paying the price.

He’s taking that job from Russ, Payton I’m sure told Stidham on the phone look kid between me and you Russ isn’t long here.

Question is can Denver recoup any of the cap cause nobody is trading for 2022 Wilson.
Maybe Russ takes the next step and goes back to vintage but I don’t see it.

Hadn’t shown many signs to date he’s a starting caliber QB at all so doubtful he’ll be in the top 10-12.
