With Gage out perhaps for the year, Palmer's already finding himself in the starting lineup as WR3, especially with that great TD catch in preseason game 1. Time to move on Jimbo... let it go.

Yeah, Palmer was one of a few - AT Perry, Parker Washington, Xavier Hutchinson - who I thought would go higher than they did... That's his game, too: be given press/man coverage, and run past him...

Why not sign him and sit him on IR?

Because he would have to be included on their initial 53 man roster before being sent to IR the following day, which would be illogical.

He was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of illegal drugs.

That‘s commonly grounds for arrest.

Not arresting him would be giving special treatment because he’s an NFL player.

The Jack Jones thread has a lot of posts arguing that special treatment would wrong.

Jets OL is having the same problems as ours. Same with the Dolphins up front, they haven’t had a good camp according to reports and they lost their starting LT for what could be a while and won’t have Ramsey till December maybe. The Bills OL wasn’t great yesterday either and they got shellacked by Kenny Pickett’s Steelers

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion yet that Buf, Mia and NYJ are powerhouse teams and the Patriots have no chance in a division with that kind of competition.

why is this different?

How could they not tell a person having a seizure from someone high on drugs?
I've seen a person have a seizure once, and at no time did I think this guy must be ****ed up on drugs.

Maybe there are different reactions to seizures, I'm no expert but based on the one I did witness, I would think it should be easily deciphered.
