The point was that most authors make really very little from a book, most books are lucky to sell 10,000 copies. King's books sell 100s of thousands of copies.Which book for King? Hes had like 50 books made into movies or TV shows.

I know...sorry.The point was that most authors make really very little from a book, most books are lucky to sell 10,000 copies. King's books sell 100s of thousands of copies.
Outrageous. Secedeing with Marjorie?Biden refers to Maryland’s first black governor, Wes Moore, as ‘boy’ in speech
“He’s the real deal, and the boy looked like he could still play. He got some guns on him,” Biden added, eliciting cheers from the crowd.nypost.com
No suspension announced
At the common business area in a hotel in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. He deserves a ton of **** too.Where exactly was Felger when Mazz made the moronic comments? Car dealership?
Ah. Yea I saw in the video he chuckled.....ugh.At the common business area in a hotel in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. He deserves a ton of **** too.
MSN picked up the Mazz story, not good for him the more it airs.
I can see him getting canned as this thing gains more and more national attention.
Might be a forced move if enough eyes / ears get on it.
Thing is, he was suspended just for the balance of this week. I'd think that if his employer's concern was serious his suspension would be longer or at least open-ended.
Bingo. My inner cynic says the seriousness of his employer's level of concern will no doubt mirror the mood of its audience. If the backlash grows so will his suspension, "Upon further consideration... (blah, blah)"
At his height, Glenn Ordway was making 7 figures. Now I don't think those guys are quite as well paid as Ordway was during WEEI's hey-day, but they ain't making $50k for the #1 Boston radio drive home show.OK gang, I've heard you. Still think most of you are way overestimating the income for these guys. The average host of a major city sports radio show is paid right around $50K. The money they get for one of those radio spots where they pitch hair gel or garage doors etc. pays a few hundred bucks. (How much margin do you think there is in those products that can be allocated to ads? Not much. And the media outlet takes most of it.)
They work in an industry that is downsizing.
But let's say each of them makes $300k from all of their sources. You aren't going to get anywhere close to wealthy on that, especially in Massachusetts. Even if the wife makes the same. There's just not much accumulation of capital over the years. You might put together a down payment on a house on Nantucket, but you are far from owning one.
Maybe there's family money.
The dude from the morning show is paying the producers salary out of pocket and his salary was like $120-30k a year. If the morning guys can afford that out of pocket then Felger and Maz are killing it.OK gang, I've heard you. Still think most of you are way overestimating the income for these guys. Felger is probably making at least 500k and Mazz 350k. A lot of money coming in from advertising. As Ian mentioned the Big O was making 1 million, Dennis and Callahan were 500k.OK gang, I've heard you. Still think most of you are way overestimating the income for these guys. It's true that Mazz by himself is not what you'd consider a "draw," representing little more than Felger's lapdog. He does know baseball, but who really cares about baseball ca. 2023? If he vanished no one would miss him.
Don't worry, I loathe Maz with the fire of a thousand burning suns.Herald, Massarotti Continue Alienation of Readers
There will be no approval ratings today. Instead, we’re going with this analysis of the Boston Herald’s ongoing apology. Has the Boston Herald been carefully orchestrating this whole wa…bostonsportsmedia.com
Read this column published in 2008...it opens with the Tomase scumbag lie issue but goes right into little bald headed chicken sexer Gasbaggarotti...READ IT...and then maybe you 'll understand what a phucking punk POS this little azzole really is..
Felger is an outsider, everyone knows that while he is an ******* he is no Masshole. Audacity probably saw the pairing of Squeaky with the Douche as giving us parochial Boston fans one of our 'own' that had some perceived credibility at a time when the Douche was seen as a jag.
You're right though, his shtick has run so long now Felger is a ubiquitous fixture on the Boston sports media scene. Most any lackey will do for what they have going on that 'show'
