While he didn’t want to let his team down, he was a moron to play. Volek led them to victory over the Colts one week prior and may have caught the Pats off guard with the curse of the back up. The Pats struggled that day and the Chargers struggled even worse on offense.

Yes, I do remember that. I also remember him getting skewered for flaking out on the Cowboys, Giants, Bears and Packers and departing the Patriots both times under questionable circumstances. Bennett saying crap about quarterbacks he played with is nothing new and pretty cheap. He's a loose cannon and no longer relevant.
