OT: Justin Fargas to be released by Raiders

He's a guy I'd hoped the Pats would pick-up back when he was an RFA. He's still got plenty of tread on his tires. The issue is durability though..

He can catch out of the backfield. Not sure on his blocking ability though.

Interesting player, in limited time he was productive but I'm not sure about his personality or off the field activity.

He is Huggie Bear's (from the original Starsky & Hutch) Son.

As far as I know, the kid doesn't have an attitude and has busted his arse for the Raiders every year.

Huggy Jr, I was on his bandwagon back whne he came out of USC. I think that you really can't put a finger on what being at that zoo in Oakland does for you. But if you can get a guy who busted his ARse in that enviroment, he will thrive in NE.

He reminds me of Sammy Morris in a lot of ways:
-tough runner
-versatile
-injury prone

I wouldn't mind bringing him in if the following happened:
-a total revamp of the rb corp, including bringing in a rook
-he comes relatively cheap

This dude runs very hard would love to give him a look.

His only real knock is durability. He's put up terrific numbers when given a chance, or has been healthy enough to play. It's not like he would be getting 20+ touches a game here anyway. I've always liked him as a player. I would love to see him here.
