OT: Jump Ball Joe Flacco to the Broncos

Don't get all the Elway criticism. Dude managed the team to 2 Super Bowls and won 1. How many other teams would take that? Flacco has a stronger arm than Keenam. Much better suited for Mile High.
During his first SB as Donkeys GM, HorseMouth's team was embarrassed on the national stage in a manner not seen since....the Donkeys were losing SBs with HorseMouth himself as QB.

As for the 2nd SB appearance...let's just say that if it weren't for Harper's Muff and some dubious (to put it kindly) decisions by Bill in subsequent games, that wholly undeserved win would never, Ever have happened.

Can somebody please tell me what else Elway has to do to get fired? Because if this isn't it, I have no idea what is.

If Joey Flaccid doesn't catch a second wind at Mile High and his team posts a double-digit-loss season, then I think that even the more proficient of the donkey-fellators will start to ask questions; and if HorseMouth loses his fanboys, then ownership will have less of a problem sh!t-canning him.

I don't think this is a terrible move. I guess I am in the minority.

Yeah I agree. To say the minimum I respect a team that is not willing to sit in a bad situation and fight for the next years 1st overall pick, sounds like a team from the New England area.

About Flacco we all know who he is, he's been decent, pretty decent I would say in the playoffs, and mediocre in regular season but he has a lot of experience and Mile HIgh is the toughest road game in the NFL. The problem is, the Broncos are not built to make the playoffs right now, I didn't look their 2019 schedule and other things but it seems to me they have many gaps. But to be fair to him, during all his years in Baltimore under Harbaugh, they have never been an offensive juggernaut, it's not their identity and it reflected in drafts and free agency signings. They have always been a defensive and ground and pound team.

I keep an eye on QB's passing yards bets and Joe Flacco is always in the 220-230 range, which is pretty low. Alex Smith numbers. If Flacco is to play in a better offense, where he can go up to the 280 range, that is a lot better and would probably translate in a couple more Ws. Again, the problem is that the Broncos would need to hit in the draft and FA to dream with a 9-6 season.
