OT: Jonnu Smith hates Buffalo (Edit: BB talk)

I think he would still be the starter in Washington if Daniels wasn’t on the board. Howell’s problems are very different than Jones. He takes so many sacks he’s an injury waiting to happen. Not all his fault as his OL wasn’t much better than what NE had.

I would have taken Howell here though in the 4th round. No idea why Bill drafted the tiny arm smurf Zappe instead.

Great draft pick Bill!

Also let’s take a kid who finished his rookie season struggling and do what we can to make him worse. Genius!
Bill ruined Ryan Mallet and Danny Etling as well… they didn’t just stink at football.

But along the way he developed the greatest QB of all time, Jimmy G and our current QB in Brissett… weird?

Stop chasing me around with your inane clown posts… it’s hard to take you seriously.

You reply to me, I reply back but that's "chasing you around" or something lmao.

That's certainly an appropriate gif for someone who is comparing Jones to Mallett and Etling.

If Jones is so bad as you say that's not on Jones...that's on Bill for drafting him in the first place. And then screwing him up anyway with goofy hires and coaching decisions over the last couple of seasons.

Yes, that's also how I'd describe anyone who compares Jones to Etling and Mallett and who thinks Brissett is an above average starter. Lol

That one too. Imagine thinking Jones = Mallett or Etling

Or chirping about your boy Zappe telling me to be here after the game and then after he was shut right out by the worst defense in football not showing up here to take your medicine.

Stop spamming the board.

Back on topic… I think Jonnu has a big season for him. With Hill and Waddle getting a lot of attention that will open things up,

Howell is a much better QB than both, but Zappe and he are the same size and Howell's arm is not very strong at all.

I dont know who you're talking about here because I cant see the other post, but if it's Mac, no one will ever convince me Mac was his idea. He had the lowdown on the guy from Saban, and I believe the Wickersham report that he favored Mills in the 3rd or 4th. The way Belichick looked the personnel people in the eye and asked if they were sure about taking Mac at 15 told me everything I needed to know. It sounded like he was a priest looking at the bride's ex-boyfriend and asking if there was anyone who wanted to say something, now was the time.

They can only sell between 10am and 8pm, I remember going to a variety store that sold beer and wine one Sunday at about 8 and grabbed a beer to being home, it was actually 8:02 and he wouldn't let me buy it.

Ahhh that ****ah!!

Howell has a very strong arm.

Maybe he had to be talked into it - but he did make the choice at the draft so it's his responsibility. He had control over football ops, and the buck stopped with him when it came to roster building.

And it wasn't even a bad choice - he was almost the universal the consensus pick, the one guy that they said was the most pro ready QB. Mills at 15 was not a viable alternative and they needed a QB. I don't blame Bill for the draft pick but he should get blamed for hiring two coaches who had no business running his offense. There was no upside to that from Jones' perspective. That was the decision where Bill lost me.

Speaking of Howell it's cool to see him and Maye are friends.

It was a bad choice because the player was bad. Using this logic, N'Keal Harry was a good choice because he was predicted to go a couple picks earlier and many others like him. But Harry sucked and so did Jones.

Harry's scouting report was not one indicating an NFL level receiver... Bill's scouts wanted to look elsewhere and yet Bill vetoed his scouts and picked him anyway. That was a bad pick.

Jones was not a bad pick. He didn't pan out here. There's a difference. In hindsight the better move was to trade up for Parsons and maybe trade up later for Jones if he was still available but that's easy to say now.

there you go again.
Bill developed Brissett? he played 6 quarters. completed 61% of his passes and had zero TD's
Bill was cutting him at the end of August until the Colts dumped Dorsett onto the Pats.
you call that "developing". best to look in the mirror with those clown meme's ass hat

You're totally wrong here. I read a lot of scouting reports on Harry. The mock draft aggregator had him going earlier. Scouts were 90%+ on him. Even our board was unanimously celebrating the pick except for one regular poster (I reposted the thread here a few months ago for people to have a look). There were pages and pages of scouting reports on him in that thread. Even our draft gurus were high on him. If anything, Mac Jones had a ton more detractors than Harry.
