I've been living here for 22 years. It's a great place, absolutely nothing like Springfield. More like a Baltimore or a Pittsburgh. Should be obvious for a million reasons why it's not a Springfield.
Buffalo benefited from hollowing out during the 1950s so that urban renewal didn't take down the architectural hallmarks all over the city. 50 years earlier it was the 4th richest city in America. It's the 1st electrified city in the world. It still has all the incredible old architecture and all the old Victorian homes.
