Too bad Francis just handed a main role to his daughter rather than bring in a talented actress....

She is a good director though, I'll give her that.

She was in The Phantom Menace too - albeit a very minor, non-speaking role. Come to think of it, she had a very minor, non speaking role in The Godfather (Part 1) as well.

That's up there although ROTJ started the downside.

Gary Kurtz, the producer of ANH and ESB left before ROTJ. He was the only person who had the balls and the wherewithal to stand up to Lucas and contest him on story issues. They had a big falling out after ESB because Kurtz was constantly fighting against Lucas's desire to give in to the pressure of turning the franchise into a toy-selling machine. Toys were making 3x what the movies were making.

ESB will always be my favorite- I think it's one of the most ballsy sequels. Most sequels try to outdo the original or duplicate it very closely, but ESB went the other way and became a dark tragedy.

No she dropped out right before shooting.

Not sure what the reason was. But I believe there was a press junkets with her promoting GF3 and something happened.

Yes Kurtz and Lucas has a blood feud it seemed.

ESB kicked ass.

Boy it sure seems to me that if this guy is making statements implying that he is suffering from CTE that it would be grossly irresponsible - and the legal definition of negligent - if he was allowed to play football again.

In 20 years, he'll have one helluva lawsuit.
