that would certainly be great
but Maye is the QB. his top 3 targeted players were Diggs, Henry and Hollins all over 30 years old.
the team needs to start thinking about this roster on Maye's timelines. what gets Maye to another level? OL play and playmakers.
maybe Williams is a playmaker. same with Chism. Maybe Boutte resigns. Maybe needs a target to grow with.
Chism, Boutte and williams all have shown growth and promise... continue with them.

Draft a TE and get a UDFA TE with high potential . see if 1 of them develop. kyle pitts for 11-14 million is reasonable risk if he is available and willing to come here.

try to find and develop the next Hollins. thats gonna be the challenge.

Agree with all of the above. My feelings about Brown depend a lot on what might be available in the FA market.

Colts offseason should be of great interest to the Pats front office. Daniel Jones, Alec Pierce, Kwity Paye and Brayden Smith all are FA. Colts just don’t have money to sign them all. Pierce, Paye and Smith would all be of interest. Pierce most of all. He’s one of the best deep threats in football, statistically. He went for 1003 yards, 41 first downs and 6 TD on 85 targets. He’s only 25

Pitts is also interesting, but I think will get a franchise tag.

Pickins is always FA but he’s a cancer and I think Dalls with tag him.

All these guys are money only and we hold onto picks.

That depends on what they do in free agency. If they address the OL there then they have more flexibility in the draft.
It’s hard to get good OL value in FA. Teams don’t want to let good OL go so the ones in FA are flawed, expensive, or most likely both of those.

The one I want is going to be expensive anyways, but if they can get Lindebaum it will radically improve their OL.

Kyle Pitts is one of the most overrated players in the league. I'll pass.

I hope we are Scouting Notre Dame Players: they have Two I'm very High on ie... WR Malachi Fields 6'3 225 and TE Eli Raridon 6'6 255: those Two give us a lot of height for fades - Jump ball and contestested catches. I hope one or Both is on our Team after the Draft.

FIFY. I think Moss ruined Brady’s tolerance for flawed receivers and that was detrimental to team performance. I think early Brady was better, when his favorite receiver was whoever was open. Later Brady wouldn’t even give receivers a chance if they didn’t get his liking in practice. I wouldn’t want to see Maye turn into that guy who would only throw to his favorites.
Not an accurate take.

04, 05 seasons Brady had 4 receivers with 40 targets or more, 06 season he had 5 receivers with 40 targets or more. 07 season with Moss he had 6 receivers with 40 or more targets and that changed throughout the years based on the quality of receiving options he had.

Brady has always been willing to through it to the open guy and that never changed. His last superbowl win in the NFC championship game against the Packers he through the game ceiling 3rd pass to a rookie WR instead of forcing it to AB, Gronk, Evans, or Godwin.

Brady was never broken, he just rarely had HoF talent to throw to.

With Brady I think it was who he developed a trust with in practice. From almost every interview I've heard from him, he always talks about how he practiced like it was a real game. If a receiver didn't get his trust in practice, they were never going to get the ball during games.

I think Brady was a little more about precision where as Maye, because of his athletic ability, can go off script a bit more.

He had Moss from 07-09 and Gronk from 2010 to 2018.

01-06 I agree but those teams the HoF players were on the other side of the ball which is how they won championships.

Having HoF talent certainly helps. This current team might have it at the QB and CB position depending on health.

In a vacuum 100%

I have feeling that Philly with the dead cap space they’ll have to endure would need some chap compensation on the form of multiple high draft picks

I’m thinking they’d start by asking for two ones

This teams needs OL, DL, and LB starters and depth before we throw any money at a WR.
I know he's being used primarily as Run Blocker in heavy sets: but could Thayer Munford be our RT of the Future?? He's still very young only 26 also we have Rookie Marcus Bryant in the wings. Doug Marrone is doing a fine job with some of these guys.

They can keep Him if that's what they're looking for: A.J. Brown ain't 25 years old anymore he'll soon be 29.

No

The Eagles paid him what he wanted and Brown has been nothing but a distraction. Draft the next great NE WR.
So much this. Where is the "I super agree" button

Once the guaranteed money on AJ Brown’s deal is gone after 2026 he’ll want a new deal.
Pats could guarantee his money thru his age 32 season, rather than have those seasons as options.
clearly, Brown wants 1 more contract.
Pats paid Diggs. I assume they would pay Brown.

Agreed, he won’t play without a safety net.

The best Philly is getting for Brown is a second round pick. He's a good receiver but he's not Chase or Jefferson.

Two 1s?
Your're living up to your user name, you must been drunk.

One way you can talk me out of AJ Brown is if Alec Pierce makes it to free agency. Give me the 25 year old with tons of upside. He was second in the league for yards per reception at 21.3 YPC.
