OT - George Michael of Wham died

I'm sure that some people will fall all over themselves to joke about the flaming gay Wham! guy, but he was ultimately one of the greatest vocalists who ever lived. It's a huge loss.

Prince and Michael. Then hall and Oates. Madonna, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, journey, Phil Collins, Chicago, bon jovi, Gloria estafan. Etc.

Some of this list is ridiculous as it relates to George Michael's success. Absolutely ridiculous.

Your right. Michael was in a league of his own. And yes there were better musicians out there but his record sales, his impact around the world, his music videos (when MTV actually had music videos) speak for itself. He's in a league of his own

I should've said 3 of the biggest icons not The 3 biggest icons. We all have different tastes in music. Chicago, Gloria Estefan? Maybe over Wham but George's career took off once he went solo

I liked Sting in his heyday

I knew a guy in AA that loved to use the term "dirtnap". He didn't stay sober and it came to be. He died this year

He'd always say "I almost took a dirtnap..."

His name was Dana Reiss

I had a shot of Death Wish Coffee vodka a few hours ago. It feels relevant.

He's just at a lower tier than MJ and Prince, Madonna and even Whitney Houston.
