OT: Football Outsiders fires Pats hater Scott Kacsmar

Well, FO readers won't have to read Kacsmar's Manning fellations anymore.

Apparently he was being his usual biased, hater self on Twitter and annoyed someone enough to dig into his timeline and find some pretty racist tweets, which led FO to punt his azz out of there.

I know some people here used to post on the old KFFL boards? He was the screen name Still Swingin' over there and was regarded as a total joke. A Steelers fan but a Peyton Manning fan even more.

Never looked at Football Outsiders, but anyone who hired that tool must be questioned.

Poor Still Swingin'. Got ****canned the same week Brady is playing his 9th. Hope he's miserable.

I read the tweets. I don’t know if he really is racist or not but it was not a good look. His explanation wasn’t good enough either.

Yikes. Some of those are really bad. I read Jesse Jackson one first and chuckled a little, but the farther I got into the tweets, the more uncomfortable I became. Just terrible.

Like I said I don’t know if he’s racist but I doubt there are many non racists who would tweet like that. Not just once but again and again.

No-one I know would “joke” like that.

But the **** about Adam and Eve is pretty bad and I'm almost certain it's some sort of ****ing 'they're actually descended from gorillas not neandrathals' nonsense.

Plus the obvious use of Thug as clearly a stand-in for the n-word.

i have no problem using someone's words and/or actions to describe that someone

those tweets only get written by a racist, pure and simple (i'm taking all of them into account)

he deserved to lose his job, and anyone else who is similarly a racist deserves to lose theirs too

not only racist, but some of them directly show he's an idiot too (sounds like many already knew that though)

IMHO he does pay an abnormally high amount of energy categorizing people by race.

He claims it's just an identifying feature of various individuals.

I think hist posts were at best hot-takey and at worst racist.

I think he's finding out the world already has enough hot take artists.

Not that I am a fan of Kacsmar and usually enjoy his trail of tears whenever we defy the odds and win games but if what he posted is considered pretty racist then Loyko is in a different dimension with his ****.
