France's chances are very good, if they can play better earlier in games. They've escaped twice which they'll not get away with against the likes of Spain, Germany or even Italy.

Giroud misses too many easy chances when the game is on the line. If it's 3-0 or whatever he tucks them away, but he seems to struggle with pressure. If I was Didier Deschamps, I'd play Martial or Gignac down the middle against Switzerland and leave him on the bench.

Half time. In modern football, with the way players can manipulate the ball, especially the likes of Bale and Ronaldo who are in the top 1% of free kick tackers in world football, then the value of a wall is much diminished. Especially from long distance. I'm a goalkeeper myself, and I value the ability to see the ball coming at me. In the middle of the goal, no keeper in the world is getting beat more than once or twice out of a hundred attempts.

i am not a soccer fan but i always follows our national team when we play Euro and-or World Cup

it looks that this year team is one of the worst ever in our soccer history but as usual 'we' play at best when it counts...

so it was a huge and great win against Belgium

now we see if we can continue tomorrow against Sweden

so....FORZA AZZURRI FORZA ITALIA

First draw of the tourney. Poland flubbed a few good shots, and just couldn't put Germany away despite playing a top notch game.
