Deshaun is a great kid. Great college player. I just don't think he's going to do much as a pro. But I'll pull for him and hope he succeeds. He was better last year in my opinion

browns would be nuts to pick #1. they need to go get allen or garrett and then trade their #12 and several later rounds to us for jimmy G

J-e-t-s. Feeling bad for the kid.

I'm sorry, I just don't see him as an NFL caliber QB. But that would be just like the Browns to blow a #1 pick on someone who cannot anchor the team for years to come.

Curious why not. He had some problems early against that defense, and he's not going to be able to run in the pros, but he did put up back to back games of over 400 yards passing against the best defense in college football. He had some good ball placement and made some nice throws. He's gotta be better than at least a few of the scrubs out there on Sunday afternoons.

CFL

that's good for us though. i don't see him as a successful NFL QB.

Definitely. Right now he's too vulnerable. If he can go to a team that has a starter and work on his game and build some muscle, I think he has a shot. But if he's expected to be a starter, then I feel bad for him.

I think if he gains about 5 - 10 pounds and works on his accuracy, he can be a good NFL QB. Unless of course, he is in Cleveland or NY.

He turns the ball over way too much. He needs to clean that up in order to have any chance in the pros. He's doomed unless he goes to a team with a good QB coach... which is basically about 3 or 4 teams at this point.

First let me say that I have not watched him week in and week out, maybe 4 or 5 times over the past 2 years. First off, his mechanics are awful, very inconsistant in timing throws (more worse than not), and accuracy is not there.

The issues I saw last year are there this year, no improvement. those 16 int's that he threw this year are more like 30+ in the NFL.

It would be a great disservice to him, the team, and the fans of whatever team drafts him in the 1st round and expect him to contribute. I think he is more of a late round talent. Let him sit behind a good to great QB for a few years and learn.

Do you all remember Michael Bishop or Rohan Davey? to me, Watson is the same as them.

Someone will reach for this guy Im sure but I just dont see a fit in the pros like a few others above me.

You never know, jets and browns are dumb and buy into the hype each year.

I see him having Bridgewater's draft stock, probably gets taken at the end of the first or the beginning of the second.

After watching Tim Tebow go in the first round and Blake Bortles go #3 overall, I'm prepared for anything. QB-needy teams in bad QB classes have been known to do crazy stuff.

its not an uncommon thing to do for teams.
