No doubt and I celebrate the investment but just watching the trips on and off the ledge can be exhausting.

They are young stars who are being built up as such. This isn't anything new or surprising. This is how TV works. This is how TV has worked with the NBA since Bird and Magic came on the scene. The Celtics hype for this year was built around Hayward and Irving. Hayward was gone after the first game, and Irving's injury left 0 established story lines for national Celtics coverage.

I've got a news flash for you: LeBron gets constant tongue action from the national media, too. So, if it's Boston v. Cleveland in the conference finals, you can expect to be upset by that coverage, as well.

You want more balance, and you were looking for the local Celtics coverage?

The young Celtics stars are not being touted as such continually on an national broadcast as are Simmons and Embid. LeBron has stood the test of time and has three rings and as much as I do not care for him, he deserves the praise and I expect that. Simmons and Embid have not won anything and are "emerging" stars...

I expect and grew up with unbalanced coverage by the local Celtics announcers, not by the national folks who are supposed to announce the game in a fair and balanced manner.. Announcers Johnny Most, Tom Heinson, Cedric Maxwell, Sean Grande I expect to be biased..

I am an unabashed Celtics Fan and have been for quite a while now, my expectations are much higher than what was provided by ESPN on Saturday... last night on TNT it was a lot more balanced than Saturday.
