If you think your developmental QB traveling with the team is proof of anything but him just getting additional mental reps and taking notes then I think you have not been around here for more than a year or so.

I'm not exclusively talking about Etling. There are plenty of other examples. The point is that Lombardi is right that USUALLY the traveling players play but it's not always the case, the majority of the time it is.

And yes, we often need a running game in the second half or from passing sets.

Would love to see a running game in this game. I don’t want us to lose that identity despite having a very good wr unit. Also a pass rush. The dolphins OL is just decimated. This would be a good game for Michael Bennett and other pass rushers on this team.

Literally every away game there are healthy inactives better prepared to play than AB. Believe what you want, but neither you nor Lombardi knows.
