Do we have a Pro-Bowl/All-Pro kicker in the making?

Bryant has seen very little action.

Chism? I fail to see what all the hype was about.
They have all been on the 53 so they have all had some form of success. In the future they might all blossom or fail, no one knows.

90.5% on field goals as a rookie is a fantastic stat. He’s just very consistent. One miss in the last 10 weeks. Another great draft choice in the 2025 draft. Add in our new long snapper as well.

Bryant has seen 2% of offense snaps through 12 games and 18% of Special Teams snaps

Looks like he is fail.
That's not a fail for a 7th. Julian Edelman is far, far above the average.

I’m not sure Marcus Bryant will be anything more than a reserve swing tackle, but it’s far too soon to reach any conclusion. Jordan Mailata, Rasheed Walker, Charles Leno are a few rare exceptions as 7th rounders who have had success as starting offensive tackles in the NFL, and none of them made an impact their rookie season. 7th round OTs are treated as developmental projects and don’t really see the field until their second season as the earliest. Bryant isn’t seeing action because he isn’t ready yet, which tends to be the case for virtually every OT taken that late.

I was responding to the claim that Bryant is a draft hit.

I disagree.

Oh in that case yeah, I agree with you in that regard. I stand by the part of my statement where I say it’s too early to reach any conclusion. I wouldn’t say Bryant is a fail or a hit, mainly because he’s a 7th round flyer we have very little sample size to work with. It is encouraging that he made the 53-man roster at cutdown time, when a good chunk of 7th rounders get cut and stashed on practice squads. The team saw enough in him to not risk losing him to another team. For now he’s an unknown more than anything else, a “to-be-determined” as a prospect more than a hit or a fail.

But, I was also pointing out that there has been little to grade Bryant on because he hasn't seen action.

19 offensive snaps through 12 games is somebody invisible.

Boutte came through, so perhaps Bryant will as well.

I think he has really good potential, and I've been very impressed with his ability to shake off his early season jitters. So far when we've needed him he has been there.

As far as being all pro/pro bowl I think the potential is definitely there, but he's not there yet. There are a lot of excellent kickers in the league, and only becoming more so because of their new ability to condition the footballs the way they like.

I asked Gemini to give me the stats of the top kickers in terms of expected kicker value added and Andy is #11 right now. Not bad for a rookie at all, though to be fair Reichard (MIN) and Loop (BAL) are also rookies. (Damned Baltimore always finds a good kicker)
