The stigma of Alabama QBs the plethora of talent and the perceived lack of arm strength had me against the Mac Jones pick.
I can’t lie and say I was team Mac all along.
I was on record saying I had him below Kellen Mond and Davis Mills.
Harry must have had a concussion before he slammed to the ground on that missed catch... he legit squared up to Wynn and threw a big block on his own LT. I mean, the confusion that this kid must be playing with is beyond understanding. I actually feel bad for him. But, by the end of the season we'll hardly remember he was here.
And what if you were told that Harry's blocking assignment was #75 and that he's supposed to mirror 75 to prevent a back-side tackle while WYNN is supposed to drop so he runs behind Harry? Or are you Ms. Cleo and you know what the blocking assignment for that particular play was supposed to be?
Obviously I'm glad that Harry isn't seriously hurt, because I'm not quite so sociopathic that I wouldn't be thankful for a guy to not be damaged. But I'm not sure the injury was the biggest concern for N'Keal on that particular play. I'm far more disappointed by the fact he finally showed some good athleticism and route running, but biffed the play by jumping when he didn't have to.
