Bucs front didn't generate enough pressure against Rams or Boys. Their secondary is decimated playing back-up rookies. If Mac can get his targeting fixed he could have a good game.

Stopping their offense is another matter. They don't seem to run very much and our secondary is playing well. There's a chance.
.....Ok I will ask. The pats are scoring about 18 ppg, and most of that is based on the jets QB throwing balls to us 4 times, this offense has not scored much at all this year....now, you think that evey 18 points is going to beat the bucs? I mean maybe if there is a plane wreck or something.

No. They'll need 30+ or hold onto the ball for 40 minutes.

The GDTs are evil. I'm not sure they are for me.
There are some overreactions but usually football equals emotions and i think fans need to let them out somehow. Of course it should be not personal or sth like that.
I'd like to think during the week i'm 1/2 way respectful of other posters and take a couple of minutes to post fairly level-headed quips or responses.

Yesterday I told one poster to STFU and I got into it with 2 others at a nasty level.

Too raw. Too reactionary. Too emotional. I was pissed off at the loss and it got the best of me.
I usually try to ignore nasty posts, i just stop reading then.

They weren't nasty but my problem is I cannot stand the skiddish, knee-jerk panic by fans and in particular that thread. It drives me insane. Best off to ignore it or stay out. I'm not changing anybody's ways by blasting them.

Yea I cannot stand the skiddish, knee-jerk panic in that thread. It drives me insane. Best off to ignore it.
I don't see me as a member of team bill or brady if i had to decide but i think if there is a team brady here they are completely fine so far, good posts, interesting discussions about our offense vs their defense etc. That's how i hope it would be. Expect from this one post to humiliate BB, if this is serious it's crazy

I think wanting Brady to humiliate the Patriots is really missing the boat, even if someome really feels strongly that they wanted the team to keep Brady. This is just one game. The media will blow it up of course, but whatever happens here, it’s just going to be inflated for bragging rights. If the Patriots win or lose, it has little bearing on their post-Brady aspirations. If they win, people will just claim Brady would have never been able to get past Belichick, or it proves the coach was more important, even though that’s an overreaction. If the Bucs win, people will claim Belichick was a fraud carried by Brady, even though that’s an overreaction. I’m excited to see this game but wish it didn’t exist because it will inevitably spawn garbage narratives that have little to do with the Patriots dynasty.

Learned my lesson. Hop in before game time, wish the boys luck and GTFO. We can be up 21 and give up a field goal and they go to hell. Provides some interesting reading material but as far as I'm concerned once the game kicks off that thread Is thunderdome.

And I exit, stage left...

Anything can happen.
