Hilarious, sad and pathetic the after game show on NBC Sports Boston has devolved into a draft selection scenario show. They are even quoting Tankathon site. They barely even analyzed the game.
Yup. It’s where the Pats franchise is.

Sneaky positive from today…Trent Brown healthy scratch preventing him from $6M in incentives. He’s dogged it big time for entire game’s this year. F that dude. Also means he isn’t coming back. You don’t do that to a guy you hope to re-sign
Well said….F this waste

I really think Pats secure at least 3 with a loss to the Jete. Will need help to get the #2. Beat the Jete and COULD drop to #7 with some bad luck

This team will play hard for Bill next week. The Jete is BAD. I don't see the Pats losing at home. Bill always usually beats bad QBs.

I posted this in the game thread but it deserves re-posting as another demonstration of the terrible referring we've suffered through this year. How obvious was this delay of game call? The Bills decide to run the clock to end of the quarter but they didn't have that much time on the play clock!

Gotta be done. Can make case to fire him now so he doesn’t turn the Jets game into his personal Superbowl.

Cold, I know, but future starts now.
Now that would truly be the ballsiest move Kraft ever made

There’s not much to analyze. We lost because we turned the ball over too much and our offense couldn’t get it done when it mattered. If you take out the kickoff return td, our offense only scored 14. Chad Ryland continues to miss kicks.

Reality is that the season is over. All that’s left is what will our draft pick be?

Sorry...was thinking the Patriots won that one

Yes, beyond head-to-head, when it comes to the draft, it goes back one more to common opponents:

I think I just figured this out. Patriots have the better conference record, which is ahead of head-to-head and based on the above, that should be the reason:

I'll bring in @Ross12 on this one, but I believe that should be the difference.

Based on that, this is what I have, which matches theirs:
*Gray denotes eliminated from playoff contention, prior to this afternoon's games.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see Mac Jones back in the last game. Zappe was pretty awful.
If Mac wasn’t even considered after today’s 1st quarter; there’s ZERO chance he plays next week unless Zappe gets injured.

I guess Mac is the #2, but I’d prefer that Rourke play over Mac at this point.

Only question I have is if the Titans lose to the Jaguars, the Giants lose to the Eagles, and we win....

What happens? The Cards (Seahawks) and Commanders (Cowboys) are losing next week for damn sure.

Pick #6? With the Commanders and Titans wanting a QB upgrade as well?

I’d start Rourke…. give the kid a chance!!!!

It's the opposite. Weaker strength of schedule means higher draft pick. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense since it seems to promote tanking. Washington's SoS will raise simply by playing a better team.
I think it makes sense since if you can’t beat a weak team, you need more help thus should have a higher draft pick

Season is almost mercifully over
