I know you're the resident Canes expert, so I can't speak to his play last year nearly as informed as you can.
He's young, it's his 6th game. He can be better. Will he? Hell I don't know, but I thought he looked really good in the first half, then struggled in the second when he had to play catchup and Tenn abandoned the run and put it all on his shoulders.
The 2nd half Cam Ward was the worst version of Cam Ward, which is why I was calling him Incarnate Word Cam Ward. because that's what he looked like as a 1-star recruit.

He's got a lot of raw talent, but desperately needs coaching, otherwise he's going to flame right out of the league.

Edit: I forget who it was in the GDT who said it, but they were absolutely right. 'The Patriots just need to survive the Titans sugar high and they'll be fine'. He was absolutely right.

I’ll worry about the OL and the pass defense tomorrow. But today…

It might not be an accident that we are seeing so many outstanding completions from an ordinary receiving group.

That play though...

It was gross...however I quite liked it!

I don't expect you to say anything.
I've learned, you think you're opinion is right 100% of the time and fail to see anyone other possible point of view.
It is what it is.
Of course I think my opinion is right otherwise I wouldn’t have that opinion. Do you post things you dint believe are right?

I totally considered your view point and it didn’t sway me at all.
I don’t think how someone played is answered by making excuses for them.
Here’s how he played:

In the first half he completed a lot of dunk and dunk passes and one very nice TD pass. Other than that one he couldn’t get his offense in the end zone.
In the second half he choked and handed the Patriots a TD.
In the 3rd quarter when the game went from close to blow out he led his offense to -3 yards.
He put ZERO points on the board in the second half. Actually -7.
He padded his stats in garbage time which is meaningless.

Do you disagree with any of that?
If you want to win the game can you ever with your Wb doing that?

You are projecting. You think you are 100% right and took no consideration to the case I made to disagree with you, only making excuses to defend your opinion , refusing to be swayed.

I can’t imagine anyone who knows anything about football reading that argument I made to conclude if you are concerned with winning the game he was bad.
Do you think teams can win when the offense accounts for -7 in the serving half?
Stop projecting.

You'll be disappointed then, 'cause we all know you should expect him to say plenty
You certainly should because I don’t say anything that I haven’t thought through and can defend when my opinion is attacked.

No one is "attacking" your opinion.
It's a discussion.
Maybe you think it's personal, and it most certainly isn't.

That was my biggest concern after last season
We know it was coaching and he felt like he had to play hero ball
But now he has good coaching who stress the importance of ball security over everything else
This kid listens and is easy to coach

Regarding the roster, that poster is delusional thinking they are "the best once everyone is healthy". Pats by far have a superior roster.

After todays game, Maye is the 2nd most sacked QB. Behind only Ward.

Hard to win NFL games regardless of your opponent. The defense started slow but improved as the game went on. This team is very resilient which is a trait of teams that are improving and can make noise in the playoffs. Chaisson, Pop and Buotte all made clutch plays that turned into touchdowns. Drake's improvement and level of play is off the charts. I hope the coaches continue to stress that he needs to take care of his body. After the last few years 5-2 feels really good.

I don't know if it's 'by far', but I'd say they have better players at key positions. Certainly on defense.

Billsfan delusions are gassed up by constant ESPN glazing over the past half-decade when they haven't won ****.

2022. That was the year.

It counts as a sack and fumble
The question is whether he touched him. I just checked again and NE has 5 sacks, but only 4 sacks are credited to players. They need to change that and award it to Chaisson.

We need to give him more help. He is operating like a maestro but imagine with a big WR1.
If we keep strengthening the line, the results should be even more impressive.

I like big targets who can stretch the field. Tet had me interested, but the add of Will was superb.

When the blockings good, everyone looks better

I don't understand the boners for a 'Big WR1'.

They're throwing the ball just fine. Seems like a radio talk show hot take to me.
I don't get it either.
Our pass offense is statistically one the better ones ion the league.
Our WRs get open, catch the ball make plays.
Diggs looks good, Boutte looks good....
We move the ball and score points.

Coldest of cold takes is that we still need help on the OL rotation. Backups, besides Brown, are not trusted. The big guys aren't getting the breathers they need.
