Pats took advantage of the Bills JAGS on defense today.

Pats defense did a lot better against the Bills offense.

If it weren’t for Bourne’s fumble, the game would’ve probably been out of reach.

Mac’s balls finally dropped and led a game winning drive against a winning team.

Stat geeks need to create a stat of negative plays that result from a “pressure”. Any player can put “pressure” on a QB, but we need to know what happened after that. Barmore had one during the game that resulted in a 17 first down pass. Then later either he or Bentley had one that resulted in an overthrown pass. Keeping track of this shows how disruptive a player actually is.

That's undoubtedly true, BUT having Tom Brady as your QB also makes line play look a lot easier
No doubt. And from day one he showed flashes that he would become who he was. But he “walked” into becoming the greatest, those teams played as a team. Brady wasn’t the goat until he was around for at least ten years. Two things Brady did that I’ve never seen anyone do was absolutely not give the ball away, and the second which was more impressive was how he gave his body up on sacks. Not resisting, avoided injuries. Mentally toughest qb ever no doubt. I’m sure that was one of the biggest qualities his team mates followed

Dugger was fantastic last year. He played near the line. He's learning a new position but he is now out of position a lot and no longer making the big plays.
Yes. We need to dedicate some one to play FS, mills would be good in the FS role held by D mac. Dugger is best up around the line. He's still solid this year but not in those advantageous positions he was last season. I hope mayo can recognize this. He needs to be put in better positions.

Pepper is looking better and better. Takes a good while to shake off "injury-scare" bug and at 28, he has enough experience to mold his instict in the NFL

I do wonder if he wants to be part of a rebuild given his history, I think he will chase the money in 2024. But who knows?

Kinda bugs me that Judon had to go down for Barmore to flip, but if he can keep it going, no complaints for me.

About propelling the team... I will wait for the next game. One game is a fluke, two is a trend
Agreed. Peppers reminds me so much of Rodney he's a leader on/off the field . Guys a Missile. He strikes fear in TEs coming across the middle. I can see him re- uped on a 2 yr. Deal. Barmore is a force he's the type of player that we need to collapse the pocket and make it hard for QB to step up. He's seemingly playing more up on the line instead of a down lineman.. he's more like interior rusher. On propelling them I was saying that " could".. Miami isn't a fluke either that offense is the real deal..

Tom was the greatest, but he did give the ball away, he used to be around 12 interceptions a year but cut that down in later years. He also had that awful playoff game against turning the ball over, I think the team turned it over 5 times that game, and Tom had 3-4 interception including a pick six when they were close to scoring.

The relevance is you were right that injuries are an excuse?

No the relevance was that I was right that this Bills defense would fall apart without those 4 starters.

AKA - See? I know my team well.

This isn’t that difficult of a topic to understand.

Mac pulled off a game winning drive which I did not think he was capable of. So kudos to him.

Bill gets 300 - so congrats to that.

Great win but can't help but think is this a pivot point or just a bad team having a great one off win?
Is this his first?
If we find a way to get Marvin Harrison Jr and go in next season with him Douglas and Bourne we could have a legitimate WR corps on our hands for Mac

Why didn't your offense do well against a defense missing even more top players?

I don't know how we will get a franchise QB if we have a winning streak. I don't want to be fighting for 3rd place in the division for the next five years. This team only needs a quality QB, a #1 WR, and health.

If they can get a little injury luck in that secondary to build some cohesion, I think the combo of Jones, Jones, and Jackson could be good enough. First game back for Jack, he looked better than I expected. Big thing is they need to find more pressure without Judon. Looked decent today, but need a little more IMO.
They were at 47% pressured at one point against Allen. You don't get much better than that except getting the actual sacks against the guy/

Franchise QBs are not limited to the first 3-4 picks. And many QBs taken early end up on the trash heap. And I am far from convinced that Caleb Williams is the Second Coming.

The surprising stat is that the Pats have the best division record at 2-1
That's actually pretty important considering how bad we've been.
Yes wich is mind blowing! If they can build of this win, continuing with the continuity on the line.. having strange back in was really the difference. IMO juju can just stay on IR for the rest of the season. I like seeing Pop more involved mixing in reagor with Bourne and the TEs..
