I would ask you if he thought there was somebody better, absolutely....but I don't see a Vince Lombardi out there or anyone else that is in his stratosphere.
That might be true but you did not answer my question. BB doesn’t get caught up with what people did in previous years. So would he accept not winning a playoff game since 2018?

In 2018 we won the Super Bowl in which he put on a defensive coaching clinic against the Rams where McVay admitted to being outcoached. Since then he took a rookie qb to the playoffs last year and what I thought his best coaching job in 2020, where he got 7 wins out of that team with Cam as qb and a lack of talent. I would say if there is anyone better equipped to give this team a chance, let me know and I'll be all for it!!!
I am not usually this negative about the Pats but from where I'm sitting, this was a big game on the scheulde. This was the game where we were supposed to see the "real team" after the "extended pre-season" and it ended up being very disappointing.
Mac was not very good. You can't pin all of his poor decisions on the coaches. He's been missing open receivers with regularity these past few weeks. His interceptions were killers yesterday. What bothered me the most was that this Ravens defense was last in the league in defending against the pass. If they can't pass on that defense, look out for the rest of this year.
The predictability of the offense can certainly be laid on the coaching staff. How they let it get this bad is a mystery. 85% of snaps under center are a run and 75% of the snaps on the shotgun are a pass? I can see the shotgun number working out that way simply because of the likely spread of the offense, but that other number is bad. Is this team incapable of play-action? And what happened to putting a receiver in motion and handing it off? That used to be good for 4-6 yards in the past. Now it's disappeared. Was Edelman the only guy who could do that?
All of these people claiming we should have picked Lamar Jackson over Sony Michel are some of the same people who say we should have picked Nick Chubb over Michel when Chubb has a good game. No matter which one we're talking about, just remember that Isaiah Wynn, who has only played a full season once, was chosen before all 3 of them. So the draft is a crap shoot? What's new? Stop trying to make it out like it's a science project. There are no guarantees there. Mr. 199, the GOAT, says "Hi".
I mean I watched the game today. They were competitive with a good Baltimore squad. Without shooting themselves in the foot it would’ve been a different game. I think many of these games against worse opponents can be wins even with worse QB play. Plus, Thornton will be back.
thornton won't matter with Hoyer under center. Start Zappe if Mac is out. We already know what we got in Hoyer. I would like to see what Zappe can bring to the table. It can't be much worse than Hoyer.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but with 4 winnable games coming up after the this week, I'd like to see if we can get above 500 and I think Hoyer gives us the best chance in doing so. From what we've seen from Zappe during his extended preseason action, I don't think he's ready for a 1st unit defense yet.
BB arrogance is tiring #12 ain't coming through that door. So the BB lead Coaching Staff believes that Li'l Jordan Humph is now better than Bourne even the Homers on here would disagree that is arrogance arrogance.

I don't necessarily disagree, but who are we taking out of there? Lil Jordan is playing in essence a different position, Parker had a great game, Agholor has been good this year, minus that fumble, there is a lot of competition, not sure who we are taking out and that's not even counting Meyers who is coming back.
That poster I don't even think realized that Tavai plays a totally different position than Bourne and isn't even on the offensive side of the ball....lol, can' t make it up
