Interesting.... Bill is a joke without Brady but Payton isn't a joke without Brees? Had Brees his whole HC career and after 1 year without Brees where he was .500 he tucked tail and quit. Payton isn't going to a rebuild he's waiting for a team with a QB to open up. Cowboys, Browns or Chargers is his next job.
I know he won't come here but its good to dream - why would he want to come into this mess and probably several years of rebuilding ...Dallas is probably his destination where there is a lot of pieces in place
I last checked the score on my phone and saw us up 24-17 with like 44 seconds left or something?
I just literally cannot be surprised by anything this miserable team does. And Mac Jones's *****iness and constant need to throw a tantrum 3 plays into the game is getting very old very quick. We get it, your situation sucks. Suck it up and do your damn job and stop crying about it.
Another failure of officiating. On the sequence where Agholor caught the ball, was ruled a good catch, but then clearly OOB on replay, the Pats hurried to the line in an attempt to snap the ball quickly. The officials held the snap as if New England had substituted and they had to give the defense a chance to match personnel. Except I don't think the Pats ever substituted, so the play should not have been held. I believe that's what BB was livid about following that situation.

So the coaches cannot call a draw play in that situation - giving themselves a chance to potentially break a play while minimizing risk - without reasonably expecting their players to not do ... THAT ????
That is squarely on Meyers' shoulders (and to a lesser extent, Rham's).
A 4-year veteran with as much accrued playing time as Meyers (particularly as a former QB) should not need to be told (or reminded) not to do that.
After mason was traded for a bag of balls, mcdaniels left (taking coaches with him) the strange trade and fat matt being named as OC i thought this is what would happen. That the team would be 7-10 or 8-9. Kraft needs to lay down the law with BB, get rid of his kids and his buddys like fat matt and the player personal decisions which have been poor, and hire a gm.

Mac needs to understand that his on field tantrums toward the sidelines create a divide between the players and coaches. Plus he’s not good enough nor has he done enough in this league to be continuously acting that way.
I started watching the Pats in the 90's when Bledsoe and McGinest arrived and didn't see crap like this. This is the type of play the old timers were used to prior to Parcells showing up.
Yeah i saw that and i'm thinking that bill should refund some of his twenty million dollars salary. Even if the team is is lacking in talent they should still be disciplined in they're play which is not what we've been seeing. Instead the offense looks like the key stone cops
I know we’re all a bit upset. But if you watch the Bucs play every game being a Brady homer like me, you will thank your lucky stars we have BB. Tampa is a complete train wreck of incompetency.
could not have said it better myself...anyone who thinks Belichick is not overrated simply is using their fandom to hide the truth,he simply cannot coach an elite team without a HOFer on his team carrying him to the finish line
I wouldn't give BB and his presser the time of day after this game embarrassing. The only person who feels better than the Patriots and BB right now is Matt Ryan.

Also they never reviewed the Tyquan Thornton catch under 2 minutes. He had two toes in before coming down out of bounds with his heels. That should've been reviewed but you can't challenge a call under 2 minutes.

It's also unproductive and unhelpful. It draws attention to himself. It takes his mind away from being focused on the details that matter. It permeates the rest of the offense and sets a lousy tone.
I don't mind your leaders demonstrably showing emotion/passion at times; that can be a good thing. But even in Mac's case, it never strikes me as channeled, healthy expression of energy intended to motivate, organize, uplift, or light a spark under one's ass. Instead it strikes me as unpoised, upset, flustered emotional outbursts.
I'm sorry. We can complain about officiating but officiating has always been and always will be BAD. Get over it. Everyone deals with it. There are 4 phases of the game: offense, defense, special teams, and OFFICIATING. You play with the hand you're dealt. This isn't a team vying for a top seed in the conference or a division title, we are treading water for literally middle of the pack. The officiating is not the reason this team is 7-7. We're 7-7 because we have a bunch of rookie coaches coaching critical positions at a critical moment of our sophomore QB's career. The team is undisciplined and mentally weak. And by the way, none of that gets solved by prime Brady. So I don't wanna hear it about "OoOoOoh, BB's record without BrAaAaDy"
The weakness of the team is glaring: leadership, from the staff and from the QB. There have to be some serious changes come next offseason. We'll see if Kraft has the balls for it.
