Suppose if I skipped the game and just checked the score it wouldn’t seem that way. But unfortunately I didn’t.
So you are saying rather than guessing wrong, you just don’t understand at all.

36-13 win and the damnable ***holePatsfanFromVirginia is in here vomiting up his usual dysentery? This moron needs to be removed to the Playpen for visiting fans. He's just plain nuts.

So a team that is a proven running team (it takes both an OL and a RB to have a great running attack) has a great day on the ground, but terrible one through the air in a blowout...and that equates to "need to blow up the DL - they suck"?

The desire to marinate in one's own failure of expectations is unparalleled.

This is for DKF

"Don’t get me wrong: Jones’ performance was solid. The star of the game, however, was offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who was truly stellar. He made life extremely easy for Jones and his pass-catchers, who generated an impressive amount of yards after the catch."

“Josh does a really good job scheming how to move guys out of zones,” receiver Kendrick Bourne said on Sunday after the game. “Using me in the flat to get guys out of there to open up behind them and stuff. It’

That's the latest fashionable talking point about Mac: "yeah he's the best rookie QB so far, but that's only because of Belichick (or McDaniels). If he were with another team he would struggle, and any of the rookie QB 's would also have had success in NE. And they all have much higher ceilings!"

Also, what a pick up Bourne has been. His role grows just as much as his chemestry with Mac Jones

By the end of it all, we might have had 2 mega bargains this offseason, Judon and him

When was the last time a Patriot's D held a QB to under 100 yards (where that QB played the entire game)?
Yeah when Berry benched Flutie after the game here vs. Seattle (which we won) in '88 he was frustrated by Doug's passing stats.

He didn't bother to look at Dave Krieg's - an experienced veteran starter - in the same game: 9-20-62-1-0 with 2 sacks

1st place and six straight wins...it feels great!!! Who would have thought after the first few games we'd be here. Was it perfect, no, our rushing defense needs to improve, but we beat a 1st place team.

Nice to see Jonu have a good game, Bourne and Jackobi were good and of course JC, Mills and our d-backfield.

Who's not on this train yet? Big game next Monday night......

Let's discuss!!!!
I forgot the Titans already

Some are ripping Mac for a bad game. The stats looks great for any starting QB in the league, but yes, he had over a handful of bad plays.
First though, he's a rookie that we've suddenly catapulted him into Brady-like expectations. He made more good than bad, and won the game, and that's incredibly remarkable considering 6 weeks ago NO ONE thought we could beat the Titans, let alone the Browns or Chargers.
He started off with a high throw, and then overthrew several guys throughout (the Henry would-be-TD was a must have). It honestly could be his adjustment to the weather. He's only played in the southeast his whole life, so this weather may take some getting used to.
He threw into coverage ~3 times, with 2 almost-picks. And he took a couple sacks that could have been avoided or better protection calls.
But, those are issues that every franchise QB has almost every week. Brady threw for 232/1TD/1INT/2Sacks today.
Other than 1.5% completion difference, Mac was better in every way. Who's beating up Brady for winning a tight one @IND?
Sure, we had RZ issues. No one likes FG's. But points are points. That's how you win. And Mac helps us win.
Just look at Newton!!
And 3 months ago I would have loved to have JimmyG back in a trade, but now that 49ers are reportedly planning to trade him, I'm thrilled we have Mac instead. This offense is going to continue to grow. Enjoy the ride

Not the prettiest game but won the turnover battle. Mac Jones passed for 300 yards and 2 tds and we got the win. So can't complain too much.

Jonnu smith finally showed up as well

Need to be better in the RedZone and defensively against the run next week against the bills.

Patriots played super conservative in the red zone, clearly the game plan was to kick field goals and play defense. Run defense was terrible

I watched a game at the Garden once sitting next to Finkel, who had just been cut. I was sitting in the Celtics section reserved for players' families- won the tix in a pool tournament. Dave Cowens had put the prize up for the tournament. I worked for an org. that assisted cons and excons with job training etc. Dave was a big supporter. Hank kept me and a coworker laughing all night. Was a really funny guy. Gave us all the inside dope on all the C's. Told us what was REALLY being said during timeouts etc. Great time
