Glad I didn't have to go to a bar to watch this boring game. I did however like the way the Pats played.

Go Pats

105 was the fewest yards ever allowed by a bb patriot defense. Of course zero points was too.
Considering the takeaways and defensive scores last week these could be the best 2 defensive games of the bb era, without adjusting for quality of opponent.

Wouldn't that be the SB?

They allowed more yards and points in the Sb.

Of course it was against a better team in a more important game but as I said, not adjusting for quality of opponent.

These two games make me wonder if Belichick's son and Mayo are also on their way to being brilliant head coaches. Of course, none of this success happens without the top shelf defensive players, but regardless of that fact the play calling has been outstanding.

I haven’t been able to review it all yet but we are playing schemes we never have before and changing it up every game.
Looks like you can do a lot of things when you have guys you can trust to cover.

And guys that can play different roles.

In fairness, as outstanding as the 2014 defense was, this is the first time since the original dynasty teams that the Patriots have the cattle (on all three levels) to go hunting.

After it was 30-0, the O got sloppy. The D, however, remains mighty.

O is a work in progress - Ben Watson will help a lot. Could have used James White today. N'Keal Harry will help, I hope.

It's a long season. Last couple of games have been gloriously boring. Pats are +89 in point differential (should be 103). next closest team is Baltimore, who are 2-1 with +50.

Might also have to break glass on Cameron Meredith at some point too.

What concerns me is Sony Michel and perhaps the run blocking as a whole. I can’t speak for how the OL played in that regard but Michel has had two duds thus far and can’t seem to break a tackle to save his life.

I too wish Michel could just morph through the solid bodies that his patchwork OL is incapable of blocking.

Sometimes you gotta wonder if people actually watch the games when they complain about Michel. Ironically most of them would be the first ***** about how little separation WRs are getting to defend Brady.

Disagree, having a couple of those quick trigger guys has always been key for Brady, with White out it was only Edelman, and then he got hurt. So I think White could’ve made a difference.
Yeah, maybe we'll beat them next time when he plays. Who would've thought 30 points couldn't beat the JETE? :p
