First down. Hand off. Up the middle. Two yard loss. Second and 12. Next drive the same. Next drive the same.

The spin now is Patricia was setting up the play action pass four drives later. And it worked. The problem is he killed the first three drives in the game to set up a 28 yard pass on the fourth drive. If the Pats were playing a team with a good offense, he would have sacrificed a multi-score deficit to set up one big first down play.

43% of the Chiefs plays against that defense went for negative or no gain. Didn't hear a peep about that.

Pats were without their anchor on OL in Andrews, Cannon went on IR, Parker & Harris were out.

Callahan is another mediot that just comes with negative takes.
Well, in that case, let's get the next Pat Mahomes in here right away to turn things around (things I also heard during the Chiefs game last night that I want on the Patriots, "That's a special play by the HOF player at the TE position.")!

Some Uche love: Had his best game as a Patriot yesterday and I see his stock rising:

Been a long time coming need to see more of that from Uche consistently.

Worth remembering that the stellar defense up front was without Barmore. Once he is back in the middle that will take things up another notch. Going to mean opponents will need to keep TEs and RBs in to chip, which makes the jobs of the DBs that much easier.

Didn't see much in the way of RPO's for Mac yesterday - that's one way to make his task easier in the short term. Lazar said he charted three.

I believe the colts haven’t won at foxboro since 2006. Qbs during this win streak include manning, luck, all the way to ehlinger

In my humble opinion we can’t compare the 2.
We faced a lame duck coach who won’t last the season.
Vs the Chiefs faced Mike Vrabels 5 and 2 Titans who are very much in the playoff picture.
Poster was talking about the Chief's game against the Colts.

Some defensive numbers:

You know what is scary? Jones was pressured at a higher percentage last week. At least that was what I heard on the radio that he was pressured closed to 50% of all his passes last week. Don't kill me if I am wrong, but I am almost positive Bedard said that.

Not good QBs. Athletic mobile QBs.

What good QB isn't athletic/mobile?

Tom Brady? He'd still find a way to burn Tavai.

Zack Wilson is athletic and mobile, but Tavai will do against him.

I said something about that earlier in the thread, but didn't mean it as praise for killing three first downs, but only that once they saw that the Colts were prepared for it, that they made the Colts pay. I like the one play as an example of adapting to what the defense is showing you.

To me, the biggest issue seems to be the OL. They are keeping blockers in to help the OT to chip block or pass protect and its not giving Mac time. Sure, we could have better playcalling at times, however, I think execution is a way more glaring issue. Mac needs to find open receivers better, is not great at improvising once the pocket collapses, OL hasn't been great and Mac can't settle in, and the turnovers are killing us... not so much yesterday.
Great post.

Fire the OL coach.

Yes, football is the "ultimate team sport"...you need help all around. If one thing is not working, as a team, you're in trouble.
I'm pointing to the coaching and, to a lesser extent, the players.

I heard the spin on the radio. Not pointing at you or anyone else on this board.

He got burned by Fields. And although Fields has played well in recent weeks, I wouldn't consider him a good QB.
