Que the poster who will say "but he can't set the edge bro".Judon- DPOY???
Did you black out for the Cam Newton season?35 years as a season ticket holder, and I have to go back to **** McPherson or Rod Rust teams to see a worse offense.
He’s not very good at it. However, the AP doesn’t really care about edge-setting, now do they? It’s all about sacks, picks & touchdowns. He’s on pace for 21.5 sacks. Unlikely, but he’s playing out of his sleeves right now.Que the poster who will say "but he can't set the edge bro".
They were run blitzing all first down. Mac didn't change the play to take advantageUnless they fix the o-line, there is no QB who can do well in this offense. How many first downs today did the Pats run the ball and get stuffed at or behind the line? That isn't on Mac Jones. When you are consistently having 10-12 yards on second down, you are already putting the QB behind the ball.
Jones had his problems today, but he was also hindered by a miserable o-line and some crappy play calling.
Look at some of the first downs today:
When you are running on first down and you aren't getting yards or losing yards, that is the o-line and the play calling.

Doug Flutie, Russell Wilson, Tua, Kyler MurrayPeople always like to say Drew Brees, but he is one out of 100s. So we want to take a chance with a less than a 1% chance? Statistically it is really unlikely a QB that is less than or equal to 6' tall will be successful.
I really don't recall this many negative running plays in a game before.
Did it bother anyone else ?
Definitely not his strength but at least he tries. Had a great one on the 4th down to open the 4th quarter - rushed toward the QB, saw the toss to the outside RB and immediately stopped, ran horizontally, and wound up tackling the guy well short of the 1st down marker. Nice play for him there.Que the poster who will say "but he can't set the edge bro".

The design is just as baffling.Red Zone play-calling continues to be garbage.
