2024 could be the first time in the longest time that Pats fans will actually have a vested interest in watching the first round and not just for waiting for Belichick to trade back and draft a guard.
If he's still around, he will most likely screw the pick up.

I think the Colts might demolish this team tbh.

I kinda wish this team was facing Richardson over Minshew. Even in their loss with Minshew, they are scoring.

I don’t think this team is showing up mentally in Germany.

I don't think BB will have the chance to trade down.

“Performance issues” lol. Great idea coach let’s let the team implode too.

JC Jackson starts the week he was signed and took snaps away from Jalen Mills, but now benched for "performance issues". Yet Myles Bryant continues to play AND took his place when he's constantly giving up yards and TD's. This is the epitome of dysfunction and this **** has got to stop.

maybe fatt Matt wasn’t the problem, maybe the qb is.

He is running the locker room the way he always has, even in a dumpster fire season.

Belichick being around is becoming less and less likely on a weekly basis. The next two weeks may be the only weeks left where the Patriots have a decent chance to win. The Jets are playing fairly well and could have Rodgers back. The Broncos are playing much better, but still aren't great. The Steelers are winning even if they don't have an offense. The Pats don't have an offense to keep up with the Chargers. And the rest of the team are good.

Bill’s retirement card is being passed around the office tonight.

The difference is that Bryant does his job correctly, he's just not very good. JC and Jack may be doing things they should not be. Bill is an authoritarian and will bench the better player for the worse player if the worse player is "doing his job".

If they end up with a top 5 pick, it will be the right time to move on from him.

I just hope he has enough in his 401k. Well, he can take the max payout for social security.

Patricia simplified the offense so that Mac had way less to think about. At the time we said "what an idiot, everyone knows Mac is a cerebral QB, you're taking away his best ability!"

Fast forward to 2023 where they bring in BOB and "let Mac cook" again and it results in Mac looking even worse and looking like he's shell-shocked half the time, and leading the league in INTs at some points.

Patricia wasn't an offensive mastermind by any stretch of the imagination but he may have been on to something here in regards to getting performance out of Mac. Dumbing it down was better for him even though he didn't like it. Coincidentally this was also better for Zappe, who looked good too, but now looks like crap in 2023 running the more sophisticated version of the offense.
