why are people surprised? been saying this all along. Bill is an average coach AT BEST when he doesn't have Tom Brady. We are seeing Cleveland Bill right now. there's no quick recovery here. Bill has ****ed up so bad in the draft that there are massive holes all over the club, holes that should be filled by draft picks.
It goes back many years...Antonio Garcia, Harry, Ras I Dowling, the moron from Florida Duke whatever the ****, Tavon Wilson, on and on and on...he wastes picks because in his arrogance he believes he can make chicken salad out of chicken **** 100% of the time.
He ruined Mac Jones, he's about to ruin 2023. The Kraft Family needs to fumigate one Patriot place of all things Belichick. Bill, his kids, his cronies...get them gone. all of them. I don't give a **** if Matt groh picked Gonzalez. Gonzalez isn't helping the team score points.

I'll stand by my take. I wanted Mac as our franchise QB after year 1. I gave year 2 a pass. I still think there's a small chance he can be our guy with a new supporting cast. But sadly I think what the more likely chance is is that he has been ruined. Year two was a lot to blame for that. The roster is somewhat to blame for it. More than all else, his mentality is to blame. He just does not seem capable of moving on from bad plays, bad drives, bad games. He is the antithesis of clutch. Even if year 2 went well for him that seems like something he will never overcome and I don't want that from my QB

Same reason why Brady got replaced by Jimmy G when he was getting blown out by KC. It's what you do when the game is over and you don't want your starter to risk injury in meaningless game time and don't want to hang them out to dry. They aren't putting Zappe in there to go try to spark something or win games. They know he won't. He's in there because the game is over and they'd rather he be the one risking taking a big in garbage time

Yes, Brady was the GOAT. That does NOT diminish what Bledsoe did for the team, or just how good he was.

During the mid to late 90s, Drew was a top QB in this league. In fairness, the late 90s was a low point for QBs with Montana, Marino, Kelly, Young, and Aikman retiring or clearly passing their primes. But he was a good QB.

The problem for him was much like Belichick now, the game got too fast and he couldn’t adapt. His style of play got too slow for the new millennium.

Belichick is an awful GM and we are seeing a middling coach.
Our O line is the worst I’ve ever seen it 29 years as a fan.
We knew this was a glaring weakness and we shopped at the dollar store for O line man.
This team is awful. Stephenson looks slow and has no power all of a sudden.
Zeke is at the tail end of his career Gesicki can’t block.
JU JU has no business on the field Mac is one of the Least clutch QBS I’ve ever seen.

Hire some real talent evaluators and draft a QB,
I want Rick Smith from Miami as a head coach or anyone involved with the niners O.

He isn’t the worst. He has played that way the last two weeks. His confidence is shot and he imploded rather than rose to the occasion. And that is on him. But he is a better QB than he played the last two games.
