Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Packers beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

GG we go to 1-3. Kind of as expected. But at least you get a moral victory.

Gotta try to beat the Lions next week. Will it be Zappe or Hoyer who starts?
Given that Hoyer left with a head injury, it's not even clear he'll be active, let alone start. . . .

Come on. They went and had a chance to win in Green Bay with a ****ing rookie playing his first ever snaps

The whining here is u tolerable
They had a chance yet they did now win so yeah people are disappointed.

Patriots hung tough but they just don't have the horses. I thought it was a pretty miserable second half as well.

Defense couldn't get a needed stop but that's not surprising when they were on the field for what 12 of the 15 minutes in overtime because the Patriots couldn't move the ball. I don't think Mac is in any danger at all of losing his starting job either.

Regardless there are no moral victories. 1-3 is a rough start and it's going to be tough to make the playoffs.

On that last Pat series, run, run, pas that everyone knows is coming. Yeah, I'll question that play calling. Why not play action on first or second down?
after the 1st down run for 5 yards, everyone was expecting another run. That's when you hit a quick pass and go for the win. GB was sold out for another run. If it doesn't work, still just 3rd and 5.

this was a winnable game, so frustrating but very proud of the team, they showed grit, heart and the play calling was good except in OT

Injury or not Hoyer lost his chance imo. Zappe earned the right to play next week imo. Take the training wheels off and he may legitimately challenge Mac for playing time.

Entertaining game. Wynn tried his best to throw the game with piss poor effort. Run defense has to be better but we held them to 24. Not bad.

Would’ve been an alltimer.

The obvious runs in OT were infuriating. You can't win when you only play to not lose.
The runs were the right call. It's good 2nd guessing because it didn't work but at that stage, you can't put the ball in Zappe's hands...too many bad things potentially could happen.

I didn't hear you complaining when we were running it down their throats in the 2nd half.

Should have gone for it on 4th down. No way they were going to hold. Zappe needs to get rid of the ball. Some head scratching offensive playcalls

Pats lose yet again in Green Bay. Just like the script from 1980 to the present. Pats had chances to win. I did not like the weak ass play calling in OT. Very angry right now. Detroit is no push over like most here think. Give the Zappe kid some more plays to choose from next week please.
