this was a bad performance. nothing but 4 field goals. couldn't stop the run. thank God this season is over; it's been hard to watch. and I have to laugh at the people in here ripping on Indianapolis for getting Rivers as they're sitting at 10-4. kind of seemed like another mail in job from the coach - why not kick a short fg on 4th and 3 and at least give yourself a shot at an onside kick....
at least they opened up the playbook a bit and had Newton throw some....but Skippy seemed to go back to the Dedham High offense once they got inside the 30. don't know how this team gets much better next season. definitely feels like since they started 8-0 last year they can beat bad teams but go up against anyone w a decent coach and good quarterback the Patriots don't stand a chance. And they can't win on the road. since start 8-0, we're looking at 4-8 away from Foxboro and 10-13 overall. Bill the GM had better start drafting guys that can help generate points...

Season was over last week. I see a couple of bad years coming up. It won’t be a quick fix like many think.

Guys are clearly getting open, there are plays to be made all over the place and Cam isn't making the throws. Blaming the receivers is quite pathetic. The WRs are good enough if a QB can read a defense and get rid of the ball on time.

You've been a pro-Cam guy for THIS year though, all along. My point isn't that Stid is the future of the Pats, it's just that giving this offense something different - a guy who can throw quickly and accurately - was a needed switch to make. Watching such incompetence all year has been far worse than suffering through this record. At least if our offense was able to fight (through the same mistakes as Cam makes BTW) I guarantee that you'd see the team morale improve. BB has lost his edge. I think Brady scarred him.

Yes I’ve been cheering for him, but I’m not blind enough to not see he doesn’t have offense crippling limitations.

Also without BB, this is a 1 win team. Maybe.

If 2020 Pats had a TE as good as '15 Olsen this team is in playoffs and Cam looks a lot better.

Actually, you may be on to something. A security blanket Cam lacks in a decent TE. That’s for sure. And that is all on our GM.

Really? Maybe the Quarterback would have better stats than cam but these wideouts are crap with the exception of two guys. Harry has been a bust. I don’t think he will ever be a number 1 or 2 receiver.

Hard to lose your starting DT to FA then lose his replacement for the entire year plus your top 4 LB's and not see a drop in run defense. That said, am not sure if the Pats continue to play small consistently due to scheme or due to where the talent is. Either way they need more size on defense or they'll continue to get run on next year.

I think he's good. Burrows had Jefferson, Tua had weapons, why discount Mac? Anyway I hope Mac does drop in the draft and others also discount Mac, I think he could develop. I don't believe any of the top3 QBs are a magical answer. I think we develop one who can be a good game manager.
