You need to read more closely. My stats for Brady were from the first 4 games of last year when he was with the Pats. This notion that our offense has been more productive this year without him is patently false.
I read just fine. You, on the other hand, don't have the first clue what you actually POSTED. Your post claimed to compare the offense from last year to this year, but it didn't. You actually compared only Brady's play to that of this years QBs. The reality is that you flat out lied about what you were comparing, Mr. BoxScore GM.
Here is the REALITY.
First four games of 2020:
Passing : 82/128 (64%) 904 yards, 3 TDs, 5 Ints
Rushing : 140 Carries, 719 yards, (5.1YPC), 7 Rushing TDs , ZERO Fumbles
Total offensive plays: 268
Total Yards: 1623
Yards per play: 6.05
First four games of 2019:
Passing: 93/149 (62.4%), 1061 yards, 7 TD, 2 Ints
Rushing: 114 carries, 432 yards (3.79 YPC) 5TD, 2 fumbles
Total Offensive Plays: 263
Total Yards: 1493
Yards per play: 5.67
So, that's 5 more plays accounting for 130 more yards of offense. The running game has improved by over 1 yard per carry. For ALL the Runs. That's being more prolific.
While the team did score 2 TDs less to this point, you're ignoring things like the quality of Opponent the two teams played. They played a mediocre Steelers team. A crappy Miami team. They horrible Jetes and the mediocre Bills. Who have this year's Pats played? OH. Yeah. The Undefeated Seahawks. The Undefeated Chiefs. The Faiders. A much improved Miami team. Again CONTEXT. You should try it.
So please. Stop accusing others of not liking facts. You don't like facts either. Especially ones that you should be using to make your comparison when claiming to "compare offenses". Not just comparing QBs. Which, BTW, it's funny how you ignored Stidham's stuff from last year in your "comparison". I suggest you also use the NFL.com Team stats section for your stats since they have the Pats at 904 yards passing, not 865.
As for your comparing the "offensive rank for points scored" it's a pretty asinine thing particularly when you can't be bothered with context. . Why don't you go back and figure out just how many points were scored LEAGUE WIDE during the 1st 4weeks of last season and compare it to the number of points scored during the 1st 4 weeks of this season. Or better yet. Listen to the educated commentators who have said that there have been more points scored LEAGUE WIDE this year than last.
