I can see the trajectory the velocity the speed of the football.
I know that his arm was too weak to get the ball to a place that Thornton could make a play on it.

We traded up for Thonton who’s best talent is running down the field faster than anyone on defense and Mac can’t get the ball in front of him DEEP to go get it.

That is a weakness and negating the whole reason we traded for the guy.
It’s like buying a Porche and never going past second gear.

I am not wrong.
So which QB is worth looking at??

Not lazy reporting, Tom did a radio interview where he said they wanted him to work on his arm strength, they asked how does he do that and he said by working on his leg strength.
He also said in interviews he always had a good arm.

Brady talks about incremental improvement on everything but to say Brady ever had a weak arm is just not factual.

No matter what preceeded it, we HAD the game in our hands. 1st and goal from around the 5, minute to go. That should be a win. To fumble there is completely and utterly inexcusable. Nothing else in the game matters. Just execute on a couple of plays and we win.
They were down 22-0 which realistically is way too a big a hole for this offense. They were fortunate to get to 18, aided of course by the pick-6. They've been incompetent in the red zone all season. Their best option in the low red zone is Stevenson running the ball so I don't fault the play calling there. Cincinnati defender made a nice play on the punch-out.

It seems like a problem that they're so afraid of mac throwing they keep running until a RB coughs it up.

If there was any doubt about spacing issues, HH got hurt because he ran into Smith.

Blame that on Patricia, route spacing and timing have been problems all season. Now the top TE is hurt because of it. The passing game is UNCOORDINATED in every sense of the word.

Mac did exactly what you’re saying he can’t do and Thorton dropped it.
Rookie George Pickens would have caught that.

indeed ball was on the money exactly where it has to be on the first deep ball to thornton he just dropped it, but thats of course on Mac as well as the fumble from Rham, if we would but Zeppe in Patricia would also become top OC in the same sec, thats how bad Jones is...not!

No he did not. Thornton beat his man. A throw in stride would have given him a chance to beat the safety (assuming he caught it).

The throw was at least a couple yards short. He had to slow down and contort his body to give himself a chance. This made it a much harder catch than it needed to be and gave the DB the chance to catch up and make a play.

Completely irrelevant to my point. What happened previously doesn't matter. Just execute 2 or 3 plays in the last minute and it's a W.

Lets just start to catch a very catchable pass first? how about that?

He hit him in the bread basket first half and he didn't hold on to the ball.

It really doesn't do us any favors to win any more games.

They need a overhaul top to bottom on offense. Coaches included.
True, but what good is a better draft position when we will most likely trade down to 3rd round for another DB and a punter?

He just failed to do that right now.
Estimate is that it was about 5yds less than what TB12 threw. That extra 5 would've made a difference. Maybe TT drops it, or maybe the safety catches him, or time expires, but it would've given them a shot.

I actually agreed with the run. 3 runs there should have been enough to get 6 yards and kill the clock at the same time.

You expect your RB not to cough up the ball there. Otherwise you can never run the ball.

I said they asked him to work on his arm strength, and he did, so can Mac, that's my point.

Why dies everyone call good defensive plays "luck" or a "fluke"

Jones made a great play to get to the end zone on the pick 6

Judon made a good strip on chase.

The TD was almost caught by a TE of the PS and was heads up by Meyers to do his job.

Are you calling Rhams fumble luck or a fluke when most times that plays is called dead by then
The Marcus Jones pick-6 was a miscommunication between the QB and WR. Electric return by Marcus though.

Chase was careless with the ball on the fumble. But credit to Judon for taking advantage.

The TD on the deflection was pure luck.

Cincinnati defender made a nice play on the Stevenson fumble.

Why do you want them throwing the ball on an early down from the 5 yard line?

Damn Vegas. How do they know?

NE 21.5 - CIN 22

Missed PAT otherwise the Pat's bettors cash in.
