You are right…this team has been in a rebuild since Brady’s last season here…..and it continues to get worse. Last nights embarrassment has to go down as one of the lowest moments….Just have to see what the Krafts/Bill decide after this season….
We just lost to the one team I thought we were a shoe in to win against. I didn't give this team that much credit before the season started and the fact I gave them enough credit to be confident in beating the bears only to get blown out just hurts. We aren't good. Average at best. I've seen enough.
Maybe if Mac gets another coach/OC that he jives with and can rebuild his game, mental and confidence….but everything with this guy is off ….horrible decisions and the team realizes it

In my opinion they have to go with Zappe for now on. It’s the less risky decision. Let Zappe make the decision for you. It’s what he should have done this game. Let Zappe start if he suck then put Mac back in. It’s the least damaging thing for Mac’s confidence.
If you start Mac against the Jets and he suck again then what? If you bench him again after a bad performance, Mac is done !
They should have start Zappe tonight if he didn’t though that Mac could play all the game and if Zappe played like tonight they wouldn’t have been a QB controversy. It would have been killed in the egg and Mac would have start against the Jets with much less pressure.
It was a botched job by Bill and the worst if you listen to Zappe and the rest of the players, it seems only Mac, the coaches and espn knew that they would play both QB.
Edit: I’ll add that I am not a pro Zappe necessarily. I want what’s best for the team and my opinion right now, it’s play Zappe. Now Bill can decide that Mac is the starter and it’s fine but after Mac performance lately, he has to ride him to the grave if he does that. Zappe allow Bill a little more flexibility in that regard imo.
True but Fox is also in the top 10 in average punt yardage. If Bailey was anywhere close to that this isn’t even a discussion. In Hindsight we shouldve released him in the offseason when he was due his pay raise and found a cheaper alternative.

Going with Mac always seemed... unusually fast. I said it before, it looked like this hastiness comes from Mac's camp, so maybe I was right, given what I am reading about yesterday's game
I don't think 1 game is enough to shaken anyone's confidence, but BB is in a very delicate situation now regarding his both young QBs.
Without game-review: I'd go with Zappe - His bad performance could easily be explained by the coaches having focused too much on Mac's return during the week and he didn't have enough preparation.

Why would they trade FOR anyone? This team clearly isn't going anywhere, they are in the easiest part of their schedule and they got CRUSHED, at HOME!
Now Mac is no longer your starter, Zappe can't get the ball past the LOS, wait til the Jets defense takes them apart. They should have a chance against the Colts, other than that, hem.
Don't go trading away high draft picks. They obviously need them to rebuild.
