Well I appreciate Boutte being a good sport about this. But he probably sees the writing on the wall. If the Patriots can get any kind of draft value in return, Boutte is probably moving on soon.

UNLESS. And this is a big caveat, he's willing to take a reasonable intermediary deal before hitting free agency. 3/33 extension, what do you say Kayshon? Do you want to stay with a Superbowl contender or will you chase the Big money your agent wants you to go after?

I think the Doubs contract was what upset Boutte. I think he saw that the deal he wanted to get from them. But it's a good sign if Boutte comes around and plays hard for free agency.
